Amazing experience - We had an amazing experience booking a private tour through Viator in Zhangjiajie, and our guide Coco truly made it unforgettable!
We decided to book a tour to visit the Avatar Mountains and the Glass Bridge, and from the start, everything was seamless. Coco picked us up from our hotel right at 8 a.m. in a very clean and comfortable vehicle. She immediately walked us through the plan for the day, which made us feel organized and stress-free...
Coco was incredibly knowledgeable about every site we visited. She explained everything in detail and made sure we understood the history and significance of each. She was also extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire day...
What really stood out was how personalized the experience felt... Coco moved at our pace and adjusted the schedule to fit what we wanted to do. At the Glass Bridge, I decided I wanted to bungee jump, and although the wait was longer than expected, she helped coordinate everything so it worked out perfectly... She even took amazing photos and videos of me from the top of the bridge!!!
She also came prepared with water for us and gave great lunch recommendations. Navigating Zhangjiajie’s massive parks would have been overwhelming on our own, but Coco made everything feel easy and effortless. We were able to see and do so much more because of her expertise.
It was also great to see how kind she was to other visitors who seemed lost, she went out of her way to help them too.
Overall, this was an incredible experience. The price was very reasonable for the level of service we received. I highly recommend booking a private tour through Viator, and if you can, ask for Coco!

Wendy's 1 day private tour of Zhangjijie - Wendy our guide was brilliant. The 9 hour day went so fast. Wendy guided us so quickly through the busy crowds so that we could experience the day at our pace and interested. Her knowledge of the area so was so interesting and was great to talk to. Her English was out standing and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire day. We would fully recommend this tour.

Great trip - We had fantastic time with Lillian, our tour guide.
She contacted me day before via WhatsApp and confirmed the pick up time and location. Her English was great, so no issues with communication. The park is very big and can be confusing at the beginning but after one day exploring with tour guide, I was OK to do it by myself next day. All tickets are valid for 4 days. Lillian gave me the QR code for tickets and explain how to use it. Thank you Lillian.

Avatar Mountains and Glass Bridge - Our trip to the Avatar Mountains and the Glass Bridge was amazing. Our guide, Zoe, was tireless and made sure we had an unforgettable day despite the rain. Her English is top-notch and she shared deep insights about the sites. We were traveling with our 6-year-old son, and Zoe was incredibly attentive and caring toward him—he absolutely loved her!
What really stood out was her brilliant crowd and queue management, saving us so much time, and her knowledge of the best photo spots to capture great family memories. Highly recommended for families visiting Zhangjiajie! Zoe is the best...

Highly recommend! Fiona was excellent! Great and convenient tour. - Absolutely excellent experience! Fiona made the day so convenient. It was nice to be picked up directly from the hotel on time and have all tickets, souvenir bargaining, and buses coordinated. They were so accommodating in starting early at 7 am for me so that I could avoid crowds and enjoy the park peacefully for the first 3 hours or so. Fiona was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Very easy to spend the day with. Our driver was excellent as well. Mr. Gong was consistently on time and efficient. I highly recommend!

Eveything went smoothly.... - Eveything went smoothly. We enjoyed beautiful scenery and a great time. Winnie was a great tour guide and helped us explore the areas and provided great history as well. We would have been lost without her. She was awesome.

Best of China - The tour was exceptional and amazing . They picked me up and brought me back. The tour guide Wendy was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable, and went beyond expectations, she spoke great English, made extra stops for me to buy souvenirs and even meals. She also helped me with all the money exchange limitations . The tour operates under weather conditions , luckily the weather cleared and took amazing pictures . With Wendy as a tour guide , you’d feel like you’re with a friend you’ve known forever.

Amazing tour!!! - This tour to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Avatar Hallelujah Mountain was absolutely unforgettable! Walking the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge was such a thrill.
What truly made it exceptional was our guide, Lillian. She was AMAZING — warm, energetic, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took us to the best viewpoints (away from heavy crowds), knew all the perfect photo spots, and made the entire day seamless.
At the canyon, she even arranged for us to do the via ferrata adventure, which became one of the highlights of our trip! She went above and beyond, even creating a sweet video with adorable photos she took of us.
If you’re visiting Zhangjiajie, request Lillian — she will make your experience unforgettable. Thank you for such a magical day!
