Arrival and Hotel Transfer

Zhangjiajie - Upon arrival at Zhangjiajie Airport, guests will be warmly greeted by their guide and driver and then transferred to their hotel, a journey of approximately 45 minutes.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - Guests will be transported to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, where they will take the Tianzi Cablecar to Tianzi Mountain (as the Bailong Elevator is typically busy in the morning). This area is renowned for its thousands of towering stone pillars, deep valleys, and lush forests, offering breathtaking and otherworldly views, including the famous “Tianzi Pavilion” and “Yubi Peak.”
PM: The journey continues to Yuanjiajie, a 35-minute public bus ride from Tianzi Mountain. Upon arrival, visitors will enjoy a panoramic view of the Wuling Mountains’ peaks and valleys. The mountains in Yuanjiajie inspired the Hallelujah Mountain in AVATAR. Here, guests will also find the aptly named First Bridge under Heaven, Lover Peaks, and more. Afterward, they will descend via the Bailong Elevator.
Then, they will visit Shuiraosimen, where the beautiful Golden Whip Stream winds through mountains and valleys, remaining clear throughout the year. After exploring the park, guests will be transferred back to their hotel.

Baofeng Lake, Yellow Dragon Cave, and Glass Bridge

Baofeng Lake - Guests will head to Baofeng Lake, a masterpiece of nature and human ingenuity. Situated 85 meters above the ground at an altitude of 585 meters, the lake has an average depth of 72 meters. Its water, sourced from rainfall and springs, is pure and unpolluted, resembling a large crystal among the Baofeng Mountain Range. During a cruise, visitors can enjoy authentic songs from the Tujia minority people, experiencing the harmony between humans and nature.

Yellow Dragon Cave - The next stop is Yellow Dragon Cave, an underground “magical palace” featuring expansive caverns, deep underground rivers, hanging waterfalls, and dense stone formations, each with its unique style.

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - Guests will then drive to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon to experience the glass bridge, which stands 984 feet high and stretches 1,411 feet long. Constructed with 1.9-inch-thick glass panels and several glass observatories, it is the longest glass bridge in the world.

Tianmen Mountain and Stay in Furong Town

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - Visitors will be transferred to Tianmen Mountain, which stands at an elevation of 1,518.6 meters. The mountain is famous for the Tianmen Cave, a massive natural archway 131.5 meters high and 57 meters wide, formed over millions of years by erosion. Often shrouded in mist, this spectacular cave creates a mystical atmosphere that has inspired countless legends. The mountain is rich in history and culture, with ancient temples, Taoist shrines, and stone carvings scattered throughout. It has been a site of religious significance for centuries, attracting pilgrims and tourists alike. Whether drawn to its natural beauty, seeking an adrenaline rush, or interested in its cultural heritage, Tianmen Mountain offers an unforgettable experience showcasing China’s diverse landscapes. The guide will lead guests to explore the best scenic spots, such as the Heavenly Bus Road, The Glass Plank Road, Tianmen Cave, and more.

Wangcun Falls - In Furong Ancient Town, originally named Wangcun, guests will find an ancient town where Tujiazu people reside. The town features pavement laid with black flagstones and well-preserved ancient domestic houses (mainly Diaojiaolou). The famous movie “Furong Town,” directed by Xiejin, was filmed here. Visitors can enjoy the town’s night view.

Furong Town, Red Stone Forest Park, and Stay in Fenghuang

Wangcun Falls - Guests can enjoy a pleasant walk in Furong Old Town and experience the refreshing sensation of walking through the large waterfall.

Red Stone Forest - Red Stone Forest National Geological Park, located in Guzhang County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, features a distinctive karst landscape with canyons, streams, clear springs, and lush lawns. Ancient wisteria flowers and stone forests complement each other, with crimson peaks resembling raised humps, galloping horses, and various flying stones and natural bridges.

Fenghuang County - After visiting Red Stone Forest Park, guests will be transferred to Fenghuang Ancient Town to stay and enjoy the town’s romantic nightlife. Boating on the Tuojiang River at night is one of the most popular activities in Fenghuang Ancient Town.

South Great Wall, Fenghuang Ancient Town, and Departure from Zhangjiajie

Fenghuang County - Guests are encouraged to rise early to enjoy the beautiful and romantic town. Fenghuang Ancient Town is located at the southwest ridge of central China’s Hunan Province, surrounded by rolling mountains and a smoothly flowing river. The town features flagstone streets, rows of traditional wooden houses built on stilts, towers, bridges, and small boats rowing down the river.
Then, guests will transfer to the South Great Wall in Liaojiaqiao Village of Fenghuang. The Southern Great Wall, located about 10 kilometers from Fenghuang (Phoenix) Ancient Town, was discovered by archaeologists in April 2000. More than 190 kilometers of the ancient Great Wall were found to be similar to the northern Great Wall. Experts confirm it was part of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall, built to defend the kingdom against the Miao people of the south.
Finally, guests will be transferred back to Zhangjiajie for departure, a journey of approximately 3 hours.
