Arrival in Zhangjiajie

Airport Road - Upon arriving in Zhangjiajie, guests will be greeted and transported to their hotel. The remainder of the day is available for leisurely exploration of the city.

Bailong Elevator, Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain (L)

Bailong Elevator - After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, visitors will head to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park to embark on the day’s adventure. Experience stunning views during the ride to the Bailong Elevator, which features transparent glass, before using it to ascend Yuanjiajie Mountain. From the summit of Yuanjiajie, embark on a 2.5-hour hike to the Pillar of Southern Sky, which inspired the Hallelujah Mountains in the movie Avatar. Continue to the Platform of Forgetfulness to admire the surrounding peaks before crossing the First Bridge Under Heaven.

Tianzi Mountain - Lunch can be enjoyed at a local restaurant at one’s own expense. Following this, a park shuttle bus will transport visitors to Tianzi Mountain, where they can marvel at the Imperial Writing Brush Peaks, Xihai Stone Forest, and other breathtaking views. The day’s activities will conclude with a ride on the Tianzi cable car before returning to the hotel.

Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon - Baofeng Lake (L)

The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie - Begin the day with a view of the Enshi Grand Canyon, featuring picturesque cliffs, caves, streams, and lakes. Take the opportunity to observe the diverse flora and fauna of this natural museum in the northern temperate zone.

Baofeng Lake - Descend to the base of the hill, where guests can cross a half-mile glass bridge, which opened on May 1st, 2016. Afterwards, visit Baofeng Lake to enjoy local singing while taking a boat ride on the lake before returning to the hotel.

Tianmen Mountain, Sandstone Painting Institute (L)

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - After breakfast, prepare for a journey on the world’s longest cable car to the summit of Tianmen Mountain, the tallest mountain in Zhangjiajie city. From the glass skywalk, take in sights such as the 99-Turn Road and the 999-Step leading to the gate of Tianmen. Following this, visit an art gallery showcasing sandstone paintings to appreciate this unique art style. After returning to Zhangjiajie, enjoy free time in the city until the tour concludes with a transfer to the hotel or airport as per the itinerary.
