Begin the journey with a visit to Tianmen Mountain, known as the “Soul of culture and spirit of Zhangjiajie.” This mountain, rising 1,500 meters above sea level, features a remarkable and distinctive geographic landscape, unmatched natural scenery, and rich cultural significance. Experience the longest cableway in Asia, stretching 7,200 meters, and capture photos of the Avenue toward Heaven with its 99 turns. At the mountain’s summit, enjoy the Cliff-Hanging Walkway and the exhilarating Glass Sky Walk. Next, explore the natural mountain-penetrating Karst cave, Tianmen Cave, followed by a hike up 999 stairs.
In the afternoon, take a one-hour drive from Zhangjiajie’s downtown area to the Grand Canyon. Walk on the world’s highest and longest glass bridge, and then admire the enchanting views of flowing waters, cascading waterfalls, and lush greenery.

Amazing English-speaking guide to Tianmen mount - Tim was a great guide to the Tianmen mount and the grand canyon! He is very experienced and flexible, and was able to adapt both visits to my fitness level. I had a great experience at the bridge, followed by a zipline across the canyon and a slide down the mount, which were both incredible! We also had a nice walk along the canyon river, through a cave and ending with a small boat ride. Tim also had great tips for local shops and traditional local cuisine. I highly recommend him as your guide!

A Seamless, Magical and Truly Heart Touching Experience in Zhangjiajie - Our journey to Zhangjiajie was one of the most beautiful and meaningful travel experiences of our lives. We stayed at the BZIKA Wonderland Retreat (5 star glamping where luxury, serenity and natural beauty come together) surrounded by mountains, fresh air and a peaceful nature. What made our trip unforgettable was the love, care and meticulous planning that went into every single moment. Ethan and Monica from BZIKA arranged for Tim to be our English speaking guide. The entire trip felt effortless. We were able to simply be present and enjoy ourselves which is something that is incredibly rare when traveling. Tim was exceptional! He was warm, patient, funny, thoughtful and incredibly professional. Each day he arrived at BZIKA in a private care and from that moment on we felt completely taken care of. Every pickup, every ticket, every attract was seamless. Tim guided us through the wonders of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park including the Avatar Mountains. We also walked the Glass bridge and explored Tianmen Mountain including Heavens Gate. The highlight of our vacation was the the thrilling Savage Valley rope descent and cave exploration. WOW, something that pushed us just enough and out of our comfort zone and to remind us how alive we are. Tim cheered us on the entire time. What touched us the most was how loved, supported and cared for we felt throughout this entire trip. Ethan and Monica created a flawless plan and Tim delivered it with a level of warmth and devotion that we will always remember. We didn't just see Zhangjiajie we felt it! Every moment felt seamless, safe and full of joy. We will carry this trip in our hearts forever! If your are traveling to Zhangjiaji do not hesitate as this team will give you the experience of a lifetime! We're already discussing a return in 2026!!

Incredible One Day Zhangjiajie Tour with Tim - We booked a full day tour with Tim and he made what could have been a very packed itinerary feel surprisingly smooth. We only had one day in Zhangjiajie and he really helped us make the most of it.
Tim speaks great English and spent the day chatting with us about China, local culture, and everyday life. He answered all our (many!) questions and kept the whole day fun and easy to follow.
We started the morning with bungee jumping, walking across the glass bridge, trying the zipline, and sliding down the mountain definitely an intense but exciting start. After that, Tim took us to the Avatar Mountain elevator, where we got to see some of the most beautiful views of the trip. Later, we headed to Tianmen Mountain and took what felt like endless escalators to the top before ending the day with the pretty lights at the bottom.
One thing that really stood out was how helpful and reliable Tim was. We had paid him about a month in advance and he handled every detail for us. He even found a hotel we loved — one we couldn’t locate on our own since it wasn’t showing up on Google. It gave us a lot of peace of mind.
Even though our schedule covered three different areas, Tim kept everything running on time. Our driver was always waiting for us the moment we finished each activity so transitions were fast and easy.
Overall, Tim went above and beyond to make our one day in Zhangjiajie completely stress-free and memorable. We would definitely recommend booking with him if you want an organized, exciting, and well-planned experience.

Expert English-speaking personal local guide for Zhangjiajie-Avatar mountains - Wife and I had a lovely activities-packed 4 day visit to the major sights in this vast imposing mountain range that has much more than just the storied Avatar section. Deftly making last minute changes in plans to negotiate the shifting weather (it rains about 180 days in the year!), Tim expertly guided us through the many walking routes to cater to our preferences. He helped us choose and book 2 top end resorts (a boutique one nestled at the entrance of a little known gate into the park); booked a chauffeured van for all our transportation needs and arranged for a private BUS INSIDE the park to avoid queues); bought VIP tickets for the lifts and many more attractions -- we loved the Zip-line & cable rides over the canyon, the 80+ story slide down the mountain and the International wingsuit BASE jumping competition!
Would highly recommend this English-speaking budget-minded enthusiastic local guide who will go that extra mile beginning BEFORE your visit to make it carefree and memorable.

Best tour to the Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge and Heaven's Gate - We were picked up on time and our tour guide, Mr. "Chandler", made us feel at home as soon as he picked us up. He is very knowledgeable and patient. The tour went smoothly and was customized to our needs and pace. We really enjoyed the tour and the excellent customer service received. We highly recommend this tour and will for sure come back to Zhangjiajie and book another tour with them.

Great experience at Zhangjiajie - We had amazing two days with Tim! We have visited China during very busy season. Thanks to our guide we went through our attractions verry smoothly! Tim is a very knowledgable guide - he will share a lot of interesting facts with you. He also helped is to organise a great dinnner! Higly higly recommended!

Tim made our visit amazing! - Tim was an excellent guide, he speaks great English and is very kind person, he managed to make us enjoy fully the national park although we were in extremely high season. I can only recommend him. He gave us also great tips for food and massage after the tour!

Great to be First timer tourist in China - As first-time tourist visitors to China, our trip to Zhangjiajie was made truly special thanks to our guide, Tim. He showed warm hospitality and was always patient and accommodating—making adjustments based on our food preferences and helping us include extra activities we were interested in. Tim knows the area extremely well and shared many helpful tips and cultural insights that made us feel more connected to the place. This experience genuinely changed our view of China in the most positive way. We’re grateful to have had Tim as our guide and highly recommend him to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie for the first time.

The best experience in China ! - Exceeded expectations
This one-day tour experienced by Tim exceeded expectations! VIP service is too intimate, exclusive car pick-up and drop-off to avoid queuing trouble,
, the itinerary is flexible
and free, and the details are full. The tour guide Tim took care of the whole process, and even took the initiative to help find the best angle for taking pictures. VIP channel is free of crowding, and the overall rhythm is comfortable and not on the road. Really achieved "high-end is not expensive, service is in place", will choose next time! Highly recommended to tourists who pursue quality .
