• Tianmen Fox Fairy Show - At 7:30 PM, the driver will collect guests from the hotel lobby and transport them to the Tianmenshan Canyon Theater for the Tianmen Fox Fairy Show, which begins at 8:15 PM daily. The driver ensures arrival at the theater 15 minutes prior to the show. The theater accommodates 3,050 seats, with super VIP seats located in sections A1 to A6, providing the best views of this audio-visual spectacle. After the performance, the driver will return guests to their hotel.

Plot Introduction

Reimagined with creative choreography and featuring folk songs from the Sangzhi and Tujia ethnic groups, the classic Hunan folklore love story, “Liuhai Kan Qiao,” narrates the complex love story between a human and a fox. The Tianmen Fox Fairy Show consists of five scenes: The Fox King Selects Wife, The Encounter in Fairy Mountains, Lovesick Under Moonlight, The Storm of Betrayal, and The Waiting of A Millennium.

The Tianmen Fox Fairy Show is a pioneering large-scale landscape music drama set amidst nature, featuring towering mountain peaks and a canyon as its backdrop. This captivating performance takes place in the canyon, stretching from the entrance of the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Zone to the summit of Tianmen Mountain. Inspired by “Liu Hai Chopping Firewood,” a traditional Flower Drum Opera from Hunan province, the show narrates the heartfelt love story between a fox fairy and Liu Hai, a joyful yet impoverished lumberjack, while highlighting the vibrant lifestyle of western Hunan.

Guests will be picked up and transported to the theater, and then returned to their hotel after the show.
