Zhangjiajie National Forest Park - Begin your journey by taking the Bailong Elevator to Yuanjiajie, the inspiration for Hallelujah Mountain in AVATAR. Due to its popularity, we will spend 30 minutes here. Next, we will head to the Yangjiajie Scenic Area, a recently discovered gem in Zhangjiajie. Its untouched beauty surpasses other areas, offering a breathtaking landscape with a hint of adventure and fewer tourists. The Air Corridor, One Step to Heaven, and the natural “Great Wall” are the area’s highlights.

Afterward, enjoy a scenic bus ride to Tianzi Mountain, where you can marvel at the peaks rising majestically. At the summit, you will be surrounded by stunning views and the four wonders of Tianzi Mountain: the Sea of Clouds, the Radiance of the Moonlight, Rays of Sunshine, and the Snow in winter.

Zhangjiajie’s Grand Canyon, Glass Bridge, and Baofeng Lake Exploration

The Grand Canyon of Zhangjiajie - This newly discovered area of China is now open for exploration. The scenic valley is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and refreshing breezes.

Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge - Challenge yourself to walk the Glass Bridge, spanning 1,411 feet and towering 984 feet above the canyon floor. Rest assured, the glass panels are 1.9 inches thick. Along the way, there are numerous observation points where you can bungee jump. The walk through the canyon to Baofeng Lake takes about 3 hours.

Baofeng Lake - Visit Baofeng Lake, a masterpiece of nature and human ingenuity. Situated 85 meters above the ground, with an elevation of 585 meters and a maximum depth of 72 meters, the lake is fed by rain and spring water, remaining unpolluted and crystal clear. Enjoy a cruise on the 2.5-kilometer Baofeng Lake, accompanied by the songs of the Tujia minority and surrounded by stunning waterfalls.

Tianmen Mountain & Departure (Approximately 5 miles of walking)

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park - After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, check out and head to Tianmen Mountain. Take the world’s longest cable car (about 7.5 kilometers) to the top, where you can walk along the mountain plank road built into the cliffs. The misty atmosphere creates a fairy-tale setting. Tianmen Mountain is famous for Tianmen Cave, known as the “door to heaven” in Chinese, and was famously glided through by a world-class stuntman in a wingsuit. Your guide and driver will see you off at Zhangjiajie airport or train station, ensuring a smooth departure, whether by high-speed rail or plane.
