Later, join us for a welcome reception at the hotel, followed by a delightful full-course Venetian dinner at the hotel restaurant, complete with plenty of wine to end your busy day. Lagoon Cruise, Torcello, Burano
Burano - After a leisurely breakfast, embark on a delightful cruise on the Venice lagoon. The first stop is the island of Torcello, known for being the site of Attila the Hun’s invasion and conquest of Venice. His throne remains there today. Visit the first basilica of the initial Venetian community before heading to the next destination. Board a private boat to the colorful island of Burano, where you’ll learn to make Aperol spritz and Risotto. After the fun and informative class, enjoy a delicious Venetian meal with superb regional wines, especially Prosecco.
Cruise to Murano, Venice Tour
Murano - This morning, board a private boat to the island of Murano, home to one of the oldest and most renowned glass-blowing factories in the world. Witness the incredible craftsmanship of artisans whose skills have been passed down for centuries. Then, proceed to the heart of Venice and cruise along the famous Grand Canal, lined with beautiful palazzi. Enjoy an orientation tour of St. Mark’s Square, featuring iconic landmarks like the Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica & Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Rialto Bridge. Take some free time to explore Venice or opt for a gondola ride through the Venetian canals. Tonight, relax in the villa’s beautiful restaurant and savor local specialties.
Ferrari Museum, Balsamic Vinegar Farm
Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari - Begin the day with an exciting tour of the Ferrari museum. Afterwards, visit a local farm renowned for producing Balsamic vinegar. Witness a fascinating demonstration of its production and taste the unique flavor of the finest Balsamic vinegar. Modena is also famous as the home of legendary opera singer Luciano Pavarotti, and there is a museum in his honor that we will visit. Tonight’s special dining experience will be at the world-renowned Ristorante Europa 92, located next to the Museo Casa Pavarotti. Pavarotti was a regular at this restaurant, affectionately known as Ristorante Pavarotti.
Florence Tour, Academia Gallery
Florence Historic Center - Travel to Florence, the capital of Tuscany and the “Birthplace of the Renaissance”. A local expert will guide you on a sensational walking tour through the area, renowned for its art and museums. Visit the Cathedral, Town Hall Square, The Old Bridge, the Holy Cross Church, and the tombs of Michelangelo, Galileo, Joaquin Rossini, and Nicholas Machiavelli. The tour will be highlighted with a visit to The Academy of the Fine Arts, where you will see Michelangelo’s Statue of David. Enjoy a demonstration at a local leather factory. After the tour, have some free time to shop and explore. Later, head to Montecatini for hotel check-in. Tonight’s dinner will be in the hotel restaurant, with plenty of good wine.
Cinque Terre, Dinner in Lucca
Cinque Terre - This morning, take a short drive to the Italian Riviera and La Spezia. In La Spezia, board a ferry boat and cruise to one of the beautiful Cinque Terre cliffside villages. Take plenty of time to shop and explore. Stroll along the pristine shores of the Mediterranean. Board a classic train back to La Spezia while enjoying breathtaking views of the seascape. Back at the hotel, take some time to freshen up before a short trip to Lucca. Enjoy a brief, interesting tour of a local vineyard, followed by a festive Tuscan dinner with wine and music.
San Gimignano, Siena, Lunch and Wine Tasting
San Gimignano - This is the last full day in Tuscany, and “we’ve saved the best for last!” Visit San Gimignano, a splendidly preserved medieval town known for its towering structures, earning it the name Town of Fine Towers. Enjoy ample shopping and exploring opportunities in this gorgeous town, with countless vantage points to photograph the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Just outside the town, enjoy lunch and plenty of wine at a famous Tuscan winery. Siena is the last visit of the day before returning to the Montecatini hotel. Dinner is at leisure.
Leaning Tower of Pisa, Rome
Leaning Tower of Pisa - After breakfast and hotel check-out, depart for Rome. Before leaving, visit one of Italy’s most iconic structures, the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The tour director will lead the group to Miracle Square, where you can admire the tower and take fun photos of friends “holding it up” to prevent it from collapsing. Pisa is located along the Aurelian Way, an ancient trade route leading to Rome, where you’ll check into the hotel and settle in comfortably. Later, enjoy a pizza party at a nearby Roman restaurant.
Vatican City, Colosseum
Vatican Museums - In the morning, a local historian will guide you to Vatican City, the smallest independent state in the world. First, visit the Vatican Museums to see some of the Church’s great art treasures. Then, proceed to the Sistine Chapel and gaze in awe at Michelangelo’s most famous masterpiece. Enter the majestic St. Peter’s Basilica to admire another Michelangelo masterpiece, the Pieta. In the afternoon, take a guided tour inside the Roman Colosseum and visit the Roman Forum.
Walking Tour of Rome
Rome - Enjoy a leisurely morning with a lovely espresso or cappuccino in preparation for a late morning tour of the old Roman Jewish Ghetto in Rome. Established in 1555 in the Rione Sant’Angelo, near the Tiber River in the southern part of Campo de’Fiori, the tour starts at the Teatro di Marcello, an ancient open-air theatre built in the last years of the Roman Republic. Visit Capitoline Hill, one of the few ancient ground-level ruins surrounding a piazza, an urban plan designed by Michelangelo. The expert guide will take you through the region’s honored family restaurants and trattorie, serving favorite local fare such as Roman artichokes, bruschetta, and other classic appetizers, along with plenty of distinctly Roman wines. The afternoon is free for exploring, resting, or sitting in a local café to watch Roman life pass by.
Pompeii, Vesuvio Vineyard
Pompeii Archaeological Park - After checking out of the hotel in Rome, board a motorcoach to Sorrento. During the journey, stop at Pompeii, an archaeological site entirely covered in ash by the catastrophic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 AD. A private expert will guide you through this incredible city, frozen in time for almost two millennia. Then, take a short drive to the slopes of Vesuvius for a unique lunch and wine-tasting experience. Savor the famous Lacryma Christi (Tears of Christ) wines, produced only on this fertile volcanic soil. Later, arrive at the villa hotel in Sorrento for check-in.

Capri, Farewell Dinner
Island of Capri - Today, transfer to the famous and beautiful island of Capri by boat. A representative from Wherever Tours will be available at the hotel to offer suggestions before your transfer, ensuring you make the most of your day. This tiny island, once the playground of ancient emperors, will leave you breathless with its limitless charm and historical sights. Take time to shop and explore, and most importantly, enjoy the spectacular views from above. Upon your return, wander the streets of Sorrento before heading back to the hotel for the farewell dinner and live music, accompanied by plenty of wine.

Sorrento - It’s time to bid farewell to Sorrento and conclude the amazing adventure through Italy. After breakfast, a transfer to Naples airport will be provided for further travel.
