Super recommended tour - The tour was very cool, cultural, light atmosphere, pleasant. The guide David explained several historical facts and made the tour much more enjoyable and unforgettable. We recommend too much and I would like you to be lucky to go with David.

Fantastic day trip! - David was an outstanding tour guide—funny, engaging, and full of fascinating facts. He kept the group entertained and informed throughout, and I can’t say enough good things about him! Excellent trip, loved all of the stops!

A car with driver, not a Tour - Our driver was just that, and not a fully-qualified tour guide that stayed with us in Monaco. The pick-up and early morning activities were great, but then we were just dropped off mid-morning with a few basic suggestions, which turned out to be ineffective. We managed to find the Monaco Tourist agency, and even their information was incorrect (it was Grand Prix qualifier day; the place was hopelessly clogged with foot traffic in many places, which was not their fault). The driver gave us an exact pickup time and place, and he was 45 minutes late getting there, with no text or other notification. Should we forgive our driver for thinking we were abandoned?

Time was shorter than advertised. Rushed. - We booked a full day tour ( 8 hours) and it was 6 hours at the most including picking up and dropping off and time spent in the parking structures in Monaco. We were at the perfume factory 40 minutes , enough to get a quick tout and sales. We had 35 minutes at Eze. Needed more time there. Only 20 minutes to see changing ov the guard in Monaco including walking up to the palace on our own. Did not have enough time to see anything else in Monaco other than 20 minutes at Monte Carlo No time to eat and we had to hurry to use the toilet . Guide was could have used a microphone. He did speak English and gave us some history. Took one photo on the lookout over Nice. Not enough time to enjoy the trip. Eze was probably the best. Guide was unhappy if anyone was 5-10 minutes late but there was not enough time allowed . I booked the 8 hours full day tour, so we would not be rushed, only to have it shorter and rushed not worth the price. It really wasn’t enjoyable because of not sufficient time and a lot of jerky driving It was very crowded in and out of Monaco . We spent more time in the van than out. I liked the sights but I didn’t like the tour. Also we got to the Monte Carlo casino at 1:00 pm and they did not open until 2 pm. We had to meet the guide at 1:20pm

Misrepresented tour - There was significant confusion on the pick-up spot, we booked a full-day tour of Eze, Monte Carlo and Monaco but got a half-day of this area plus other areas where we had no interest in going. Spent half the time in a mini-van and was rushed through the areas that we wanted to explore. The tour guide was not a guide and basically a driver to get us from one point to the next. We were very disappointed with this tour.

!!Do not book with this tour company. They left us stranded in Monaco!! - The day began at 8:30 a.m. We had to walk 5 minutes to our meeting point. Not a big deal, but the tour advertised accommodation pick-up. We were picked up by Cristian on time. There was another couple on the tour with us who were doing the half day tour, and we were doing the full day tour. When Cristian was talking to us about the day, he said he would pick us up at 12:40 pm in Monaco and that would be the end of the tour. We told Cristian we had booked the full day tour, and he said “oh, I didn’t know.” This was a bad sign. Like other reviewers have said, the first half at Fragonard and Eze are very rushed!!! I assume this is because they wanted to combine the half and full day tour – completely unacceptable. The reason for booking a full day tour was to allow for more time at each stop. We made our way to Fragonard, the tour was good but it was very rushed at the end and we couldn’t look around the shop very much as we needed to move on to the next stop Eze. Again, Eze was very rushed and we would’ve liked to have spent more time. We had less than an hour in Eze which is very disappointing as it is a beautiful village. Like others have said, there was no “guiding” go on. This is a self-guided tour (besides the Fragonard tour which was hosted by a Fragonard employee). This is basically a taxi service. We arrived in Monaco at 11 a.m. Cristian dropped us off at a restaurant and said this would be the meeting point for when he would pick us up.  He said he would text us in the afternoon to confirm, but said he would pick us up at 5-5:30 pm. We arrived just before 5 p.m. to the pick-up point and still no contact from Cristian. We were hot, tired, and our phones were running out of battery from being out all day. We texted Cristian around 5:30 p.m. asking for an update, and no response. We tried calling him shortly after and no answer. We waiting until 6 pm and at this point, we were worried about our phones dying and were fed up with waiting. We had no choice but to make our way to the train stain and pay for the train to take us back to Nice – completely unacceptable!!!!! Still to this day, I had no response from Cristian, although he did read my text message. We were left in Monaco from 11 a.m. onwards. This is way too much time. There is only so much to see. We would’ve preferred the “tour” to be broken up a bit better. We were on our own; there was no guiding. Before dropping us off, Cristian noted that some roads would be closed in preparation for the F1 race, and he mentioned a bit about the Casino, but nothing more. We thought there would be more guiding and telling us about the sites. The tour operator was also refusing to give us a refund/partial refund as they said we “participated” in the tour. Yes, we attended the “tour”, but we were not taken back to Nice from Monaco as advertised. And on top of that, we had to pay for train tickets to get back after we were left stranded!!!!!!! The point of booking a tour is so we don’t have to think about transportation. I was very surprised at our experience as previous reviews were great, but after what we expericed, and the refusal for the tour company to refund us or apologize, I absolutely do not recommend booking this tour or with this tour company.

Beautiful Destinations, Terrible Execution — Poor Communication and Left Stranded with No Ride in Monaco - This tour was deeply disappointing and frustrating from start to finish, and I would caution anyone considering it to look elsewhere unless the company makes some serious improvements in communication, structure, and reliability. What should have been a beautiful, memorable day along the French Riviera quickly devolved into confusion, mismanagement, and eventually being stranded in Monaco with no clear idea of how we were getting home. The problems began almost immediately. About 10 minutes into the excursion, after everyone had been picked up, we learned that my friend and I had been booked on a completely different itinerary than everyone else. We booked the full day tour in Èze and Monaco/Monte-Carlo and everyone else was on the half-day version as they were going to Cannes/Antibes in the afternoon. There was no prior communication about this, and it seemed that the driver was just as surprised to learn that we had a different itinerary. He told us not to worry and that we would just stay in Monaco and that a colleague of his would be the one to pick us up later. That kind of uncertainty about how and when you’re getting back from a day-long excursion is not something you want to hear at 8:30 in the morning, and it set the tone for what ended up being a very unstructured and unprofessional day. Our first stop was at a scenic lookout point along the coast, which was stunning. But we were given only a few minutes there, not nearly enough time to actually enjoy the views and take photos. It felt rushed and checklist-driven, like the tour was more focused on covering stops in name than offering a meaningful experience. This theme continued throughout the day. The visit to Fragonard Perfume Factory in Èze was, in fairness, one of the more enjoyable parts of the day. The guided portion was informative and well done, and I genuinely would have liked to spend more time there. Unfortunately, as soon as the tour ended, we were rushed out and given almost no time to browse the shop afterward. That was especially disappointing since I was planning to buy several scents but didn’t feel like I had a chance to make thoughtful selections. It felt more like we were being herded from one stop to the next instead of being given the opportunity to actually experience them. Next was a brief stop in Èze village, which again, had so much potential. This ancient hilltop town is absolutely beautiful and full of charming alleys and little shops, but we had hardly any time to explore it. There wasn’t enough time to stop in any of the stores, take in the views, or even walk through the full area. Things truly fell apart in Monaco. We were dropped off around 11:00 AM and, contrary to what I understood when booking this tour, there was no structured guiding whatsoever—just pure free time from drop-off onward. No tour, no itinerary, no introduction, not even a recommended route or map. We were simply told to enjoy Monaco and that we’d be picked up sometime between 5:00 and 5:30 PM near the casino. That seemed like a long stretch of unstructured time, but I trusted there would be clear communication about the pickup. There wasn’t. I was told by our driver from the morning, Christian, that I would hear from his colleague after 2:00 PM and if not, to message him. Around 2:20, I hadn’t heard from anyone, so I sent him a WhatsApp message. No reply. I called him. No answer. With growing concern, I did some investigating until I dug up the name of the local tour operator: French Riviera Sightseeing. I went to their website and messaged the contact number listed on WhatsApp. To my shock, they told me the other driver that was picking us up to wouldn't be arriving until 7:30 PM and that we had “free time”. Keep in mind: we had been completely on our own since 11:00 AM. That meant we were expected to entertain ourselves in Monaco with no plan, no communication, and no support for over 8 hours. When I responded that this was not acceptable and that we were told to expect a 5:00–5:30 PM pickup, they replied that 7:00 PM would be the earliest possible and asked if that was “okay” with me. It was not okay. By that point it was about 3:30 PM. We had been out since early morning, we were tired, and we had lost all trust in the organization and reliability of this tour. There was no accountability, no apology, and no attempt to fix the situation—just a vague shrug of responsibility and a “let us know if that works for you” message. I didn’t feel confident that the driver would even show up at 7:30 given the level of communication so far. So we made the decision to take the train back to Nice at our own expense, something that should never be necessary on a pre-booked, fully paid tour. This entire experience was marked by poor communication, lack of structure, and a complete absence of customer care. The destinations themselves are beautiful, but you’re better off visiting them on your own using public transportation or a private guide than trusting this company with your day. What we were promised was a guided experience through the Riviera with time to explore—what we received was a glorified drop-off service that abandoned us in Monaco and hoped for the best.

Absolute scam - Dodgy Taxi service, nothing else. The driver Cristian, picked us up on time from our hotel. I am unsure if that’s his real name or not either. Dropped us at Eze. He was very rushed. The ad on trip advisor showed live professional tour guide speaking multiple languages, he refused that they offer this and he is just meant to drop us off. The reply was “I have no idea”. Just got some 30 minutes at Eze and he dropped us at Monaco and after a few suggestions of what can be done, he left saying he will pick us up at 5. Five o clock he was no show. We sent him messages before 4, then at 5 asking for a call or pick up location. No reply or communication. We finally called him from another person’s number. This time he received considering from ann unknown number and said he was not supposed to pick us up and will give the number of another driver. Nothing. He didn’t get back. So we had to take a train, a tram and walk to our hotel In Nice. “They are scammers, please do not book through them”.

They cancelled the Tour without warning, they have not returned the money, we can not contact the tour operator. - I had contracted the Tour for 01/06 for my parents and they cancelled it without warning, they confirmed that they would come to us at the hotel but waited an hour and never passed, when checking in the booking on Tripadvisor it appeared CANCELLED, we do not know the cause. The tour is paid, I have called the Tour Operator (French Riviera Sightseeing) many times but they do not respond, I have sent him messages to return the money of the tour, but I have not had any response yet.
