MyTransfers ride service - Barcelona - BE AWARE! - We had a confirmed pickup with a transport service from the Barcelona Airport to our hotel in Sitges Spain. The confirmed pickup time was 830AM and the driver would meet at a designated place inside the terminal. We were in the designated area at 815AM and looked for the driver displaying our name but could not find them. I received no email or call and by chance my friend traveling with me asked me to try Whatsapp. I travel a lot...Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Canada, and more including London. I have never had to use Whatsapp. I only used it last at the job I worked at for business purposes with other employees. So, I checked it and sure enough there were messages. The driver had already left at 824AM, before our confirmed time. We tried to contact the driver but he would not answer. After over 2 hours of trying to get their customer support to help us and they tried to contact the driver and he would not answer their calls either. So much for hired help. After 2 hours we were finally told that they could not send another driver and there was nothing else they could do. Basically we were without any driver. Panicking, we asked around of other services and the only thing was a taxi. So that is what we ended up using. Don't ever use this company. Their drivers do not adhere to the confirmed agreements and they have no backup plans. You are left holding the bag and fending for yourself in a country you don't know anything about. Lesson learned!
