Prison Island - Changuu Private Island - Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island, is one of three islands visible from Stone Town. The prison on this island was constructed in 1893. Historically, this small island served as a hiding place for slaves and later became a temporary hospital and quarantine island, especially during contagious disease outbreaks in the last century.

In the 1820s, Sultan Said brought several giant tortoises from Seychelles to Changuu Island. They can still be seen today. The island is home to various bird species and boasts natural features like pristine white sandy beaches for swimming and vibrant coral reefs for snorkeling.

A 35-minute boat ride will take you to this island resort, where you can enjoy a few hours or spend the entire day. Meet the captain under the big tree in Forodhani Park.

Stone Town - A half-day guided tour allows you to explore fascinating historical sites. It includes visits to the former slave market (The Anglican Cathedral), the old fort, the House of Wonders, the Natural History Museum of Zanzibar, Dr. Livingstone’s house, the central market of Zanzibar, Maruhubi Palace ruins, and more.

Safari Blue Adventure - Safari Blue offers more than just a day out; it’s an exciting adventure and the classic Dolphin Tour. Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park - This morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the airport for your morning flight to Dar es Salaam. Our driver will meet you there and take you to Mikumi National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll explore Mikumi National Park, located in Tanzania’s Southern Highlands and one of the country’s lesser-known parks. It’s Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park, and you’ll likely see giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and crocodiles among the baobabs, light woodland, and savannah-like plains. Mikumi is also one of the best places in this region of Africa to see wild dogs. With fewer safaris visiting this park compared to others, you’ll enjoy a peaceful experience.

Half Day Game Drive at Mikumi National Park - Departure

Mikumi National Park - Spend half a day experiencing the best of Mikumi on a guided game drive through the park. Look for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and some of the park’s lesser-known antelope species. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred back to Dar es Salaam to catch your flight to Zanzibar and later your international flight home.
