The best way to see Stone Town! - Alfa is a knowledgeable, energetic, good-natured and well-informed guide of Stone Town. He sets the historical context with clarity and talks and holds your interest as he walks you through the long history of the city. Particularly memorable is the installation and museum to slavery, which is worth the small additional charge. All in all, it is a brilliant way to start one's time in Stone Town and orientate oneself for the rest of the stay.

The intelligent and incredible architecture of Zanzibar's Stone Town - With incredible architecture and design from over 300 years, I recommend that travellers to Zanzibar spend a whole day touring the Stone Town. If you go, be prepared for persistent attention and an environment that may feel like our forefathers lived in a fascinating world as compared to the current world.

Our guide Alfa was fantastic! I must do!! Excellent few hours - We enjoyed a fantastic guided walk around stone town. Alfa was our guide we started at 4pm and finished around 7pm. Alfa is very knowledgeable, we learnt about the history, culture, buildings, religion and food. I would definitely recommend this! We did this on our first day and so we then had a good understanding of the area, and culture. We also visited the slave museum which was heartbreaking, but I feel you need to visit it!

Informative and interesting. - We were impressed with Alfie’s knowledge and really enjoyed this tour. So please we didn’t try to do it alone. It wouldn’t have been the same without our experienced guide.
