Wonderful experience - We started the tour in Zagreb with Sanje who was very passionate & knowledgeable about the towns we passed through & in particular the rivers & lakes. Once we arrived at the lakes, we joined the other tour group from Split with Mia. Both Sanje & Mia were excellent guides who took us around the upper & lower lakes. After the lakes, we stopped for lunch & then proceeded to Split. Mia again was fantastic on the drive back & gave us wonderful local tips & information. Highly recommend this tour.

Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the most incredible natural wonders I have ever visited. Its breathtaking beauty left a lasting impression, and I will always cherish the memories of this place.

LONG DAY but the park was amazing, as exp - I had Plitvice on my bucket list and was not disappointed. This tour was a march (some complained that it was a death march!) through the highlights of the upper and lower portions of the park, with a relaxing boat ride in the middle. I was terrified of losing the group, though it was very large.I was therefore a little afraid to stop and take pictures. The only way to ameliorate that terror would be to decrease the sizes of the groups. There were simply too many members of the group, with different mobility thresholds and ages. The tour leader Jessica did a great job, and though the driver from Zagreb to the restaurant was taciturn, he got us there safely. It drive from the restaurant to Split was confusing-- we changed group leaders, busses, and drivers and I was unsure of who or how to tip.

Best way to get from Zagreb to Split - Fantastic way to get from Zagreb to split, as you really don’t want to miss Plitvice park, and the only other way to do that would be to rent a car. Everything went smoothly and touring the national park was the highlight. We spent several hours walking the trails and saw many beautiful waterfalls. Our guides, Sanja and Mia, were great.

Astounding Beauty! - Plitvice Park is a treasure! The emerald waters and waterfalls are amazing! Our guide, Saja, was so Informative. We are older and slower but she made the long walk very enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour.

Not worth the price - The lakes are worth some trouble to see but I can’t recommend doing it this way. Our tour spent 2/3 of the time in the park waiting for slow walkers and other logistics. We spent so much time with that we didn’t even get to walk the lower lakes. Huge disappointment given that we may never get back there. And the transfer was a cluster too. Worked out but we got the last two seats on an uncomfortable bus for a 3 hour trip to Split. Definitely not worth the money.
