Here, the water literally flows through the yards of the homes where residents live, with some still using the mill to process grain! Visitors can also take a refreshing swim in the emerald waters of the Korana River!
There is a designated swimming area, complete with a diving board up to 5 meters high. This spot is increasingly popular as a rest area for tourists traveling to the sea!

The national park is renowned worldwide for its 16 lakes arranged in cascades and linked by a series of waterfalls. These lakes are formed by the merging of several small rivers and underground karst rivers. This densely forested park is home to 75 endemic plants, 55 different species of orchids, 160 bird species, and even bears and wolves!
On the journey, there will be a stop at Rastoke Ethno Village. With its well-preserved mills and charming little waterfalls, Rastoke Ethno Village, often called ‘Little Plitvice’, is an excellent place to prepare for the splendor of Plitvice National Park.

- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level. The tour includes prox. 5km of walking on uneven surfaces -please wear comfortable walking shoes (we visit highlights of both, the Lower Lakes and the Upper Lakes).
