Car traffic is restricted in the center, leaving the leafy banks of the emerald-green Ljubljanica River, which flows through the city’s heart, free for pedestrians and cyclists. Great day trip with Josip as our driver and guide! - We had the perfect trip to Lake Bled and Ljubljana with Josip. He picked us up at our apartment in Zagreb and was a wonderful guide and driver. Very knowledgeable and really made the trip interesting and enjoyable. Definitely recommend booking with him for this tour!

Fantastic Bled Lake and Ljubljana - We travelled from Zagreb to Bled Lake and Ljubljana
Travel time to the lake was about 2 hrs but the beautiful scenery and the BEST tour guide Josip made it quite enjoyable

Great day trip , no one should miss it - After loads of research I decided to chose this day tour to Lake Bled and Ljubljana.
Josip picked me up on time and made the journey very pleasant.
The trip starts from the castle at the Lake and then you go down to Lake Bled. This is the best way as you arrive when it is less busy and you avoid all the traffic.
Josip is very flexible and if you want to spend more ir less time somewhere he will adjust the tour to your requirements.
If you visit Zagreb its the best tour to chose and visit also Slovenia which is couple of hours away.

Highly recommended!! - We recently did a day trip from Zagreb to Slovenia, including beautiful Lake Bled, and it was an unforgettable experience. Our guide and organizer, Josip, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly helpful. He went out of his way to support us when we were stuck in a difficult situation, and made sure everything went smoothly. Thanks to him, the trip was stress-free and enjoyable from start to finish. Great day. Thanks Josip - Would definitely recommend this tour. Josip - our driver was an absolute legend. He drove us wherever we wanted to go and has heaps of knowledge on both Croatia and Slovenia.
Both lake Bled and Ljubljana are very beautiful. A great day trip overall.

Excellent trip , beautiful scenery & good (if long) day out - Our driver, Josip was v good, contacting us the day before, providing his mobile number & reminding us about passports, then a quick text in the morning to say he was running 10 mins late. The trip was excellent, a long day but well worth the effort. Castle & boat trip in Lake Bled were v nice & whilst the weather was awful we still enjoyed the visit to the island & rang the bell of good fortune. Ljubljana old town was v attractive & Josip recommended an excellent restaurant where the food, atmosphere & service was v good also.

Great Driving and Ride to Slovenia (don't expect any tour guiding) - We went to all the spots in the tour description but received very limited insights into what we were seeing. Our tour guide and driver (Josip) was a nice person with clear communication in English. We were particular impressed by his puntuality ... always on time and responsive via whatsapp. He was also a very good and safe driver. As a result, we would rank him 5/5 as a "driver". But as a tour guide, Josip appeared to have very limited knowledge or simply was not interested to share much insights into what we actually saw. At Bled, he simply sent us off to the castle and the boat tour by ourselves. There was absolutely no "tour guiding" at all. While we thought that it was very strange, we excused him in our mind (thinking that he was not supposed to accompany us on these activities). But then we saw other tour guides providing local narratives to their tourists at these places. At Ljubljana, there was no "entry fees". He again just left us to walk around the town after a few short commentaries. As a "tour guide", Josip would rank 1/5. We try to be reasonable so would give a 3/5. Frankly, if you need a ride to these places, then by all means join this tour. If you expect to learn about these places, good luck.
