Zagora Province - At 9 o’clock in the morning, we meet at the bivouac to get to know each other and organize the loading of the camels. When everything is ready, the caravan sets off for this first day of trekking. About 5 hours of walking per day (20 km), a good lunch break to eat and rest. In the evening, the guide and the cook set up camp for the night and prepare a substantial meal for us. During 3 days, our journey takes us through varied landscapes and terrains. Walking in these large open spaces, the simplicity of life in a bivouac, immersion in nature and the silence of the desert are an experience often described as deeply refreshing. On the evening of the 3rd day, we arrive at the magnificent site of the large dunes of Chegaga where we can climb to admire the sunset.
The next day, the 4x4 picks us up for the return trip. In 3 hours, we make the route of our three days of walking in the opposite direction and discover the landscape in a different way. At the bivouac a hot shower and a last midday meal await us.
End of stay, goodbye and thank you all.

Embarking on a desert trek is an adventure that many travelers find transformative, leaving them feeling mature and deeply relaxed. They step out of their comfort zones and take pride in the physical challenges they overcome. Travelers experience the warm hospitality and expertise of the nomads, are captivated by the stunning landscapes, and are inspired by the vastness of the desert. Often, the physical journey is accompanied by a personal, introspective journey.
This resonates deeply, as the desert is a cherished heritage from ancestors, and there is a profound connection to it. Before serving as a haven for travelers, the bivouac is a hub of community life and work. The team is eager to share their knowledge, experience, and love for their homeland. Each traveler or group is unique, and the team is committed to adapting to individual paces and expectations.
