- Zagora - DAY 1: Journey from Marrakech to Ouarzazate, then onward to Zagora. Covering 360 km in approximately 6 to 7 hours of driving.
Begin the adventure from Marrakech at 8 a.m., traversing the Haouz plain and ascending the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260m), the highest in Morocco, to reach the Telouat valley. Visit Ait Benhadou and proceed to Ouarzazate and Zagora. Enjoy a camel ride from Zagora to the Nkhila Dunes nearby, with the opportunity to witness the sunset en route to the camp. Overnight stay in a Berber tent.
DAY 2: From Zagora to Imlil / Approximately 7 hours of driving
Rise early to catch the sunrise, followed by breakfast at the camp before heading back to Zagora. Alternatively, take a 4x4 from the camp, passing through the Drâa Valley, Ouarzazate, and Ourika Valley, concluding the day in the Imlil valley, nestled in the heart of the Atlas Mountains.
DAY 3: Imlil Atlas Mountains to Marrakech - 5 to 6-hour trek, 67 km / 1.5-hour drive
Embark on a day trek through Berber villages, ascending to the Tizi Mzik pass (2485m). Enjoy lunch prepared by our cook while taking in the valley views. There is an option to climb to the summit of Tasghimoute and admire the stunning views of the Azzaden valley on the opposite side of the mountain. Conclude the day by returning to Marrakech via Imlil.
