Etna Wine Experience
Embark on a delightful journey to two Etna wineries for tastings and a traditional Sicilian lunch. This is an ideal experience for those seeking genuine local flavors.
The tour leader will collect guests at 9:00 a.m. from their hotel in Catania or a designated meeting point, transporting them in one of our comfortable 8-seater vehicles.
The tour begins with a visit to the charming town of Zafferana Etnea, known for its encounters with Etna’s lava and its reputation as the Sicilian honey capital. Around 11:00/11:30 a.m., guests will arrive at the first winery to begin the Etna Wine tasting, accompanied by an aperitif featuring local delicacies. A stroll through the vineyards will provide insights into their production processes.
The journey continues to a second winery, where guests will savor a full lunch made with fresh, local ingredients, paired with three Etna DOC wines. After lunch, there will be an opportunity to explore the vineyards further and delve into the fascinating world of natural wine.
