Located on the southern side of the old town in the little Foša harbour, it was designed by Venetian architect Michele Sanmicheli and completed in 1543. It is regarded as one of the finest Renaissance monuments in Dalmatia.

• Greeting to the Sun - Il Saluto al Sole - Situated in the port of Zadar, on the western side of the Zadar Peninsula, next to the Sea Organ, this location offers a stunning view of Zadar’s islands and the sunset.
• Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje) - The Sea Organ has become a modern symbol of the city. This unique architectural wonder is built into the underwater part of the city quay. The movement of waves through musical pipes installed beneath the sea surface creates a mesmerizing sound, known as sea music, that fills the expansive seaside promenade. The same architect, Nikola Bašić, is credited with the design of the Greeting to the Sun, located at the top of the Zadar peninsula. The Greeting to the Sun features three hundred multilayer glass plates set at the same level as the stone paving of the quay, forming a circle 22 meters in diameter. It is designed as a spatial installation resembling an amphitheater, surrounded by stone blocks with a depiction of all Solar System planets and their orbits. According to the renowned Alfred Hitchcock, this part of the Zadar quay offers the most beautiful sunset view in the world.
