- Trznica Zadar - A local green market offering a glimpse into daily life in the heart of the Old Town.
- Narodni trg u Zadru - Since the Medieval period, everything of importance in Zadar has occurred or been known at the People’s Square. It is the center of urban life, captivating with its energy and beauty, and guiding visitors to other urban experiences.
- St. Simon’s Church - This 17th-century baroque church is charming, but its true significance lies within. Above the main altar, the sarcophagus of St. Simeon stands as a masterpiece of medieval goldsmithing.
- Sea Organ (Morske Orgulje) - Zadar proudly features the world-renowned Sea Organ, a unique fusion of architecture and music, located next to another modern installation, the Greeting to the Sun. The Sea Organ’s sounds are created by the release of sea energy, through waves and tides.
- Greeting to the Sun - Il Saluto al Sole - Alongside the wave energy that creates the Sea Organ’s sound, it offers a mesmerizing light show from sunset to sunrise, simulating the solar system. It also generates enough energy to power the entire harbor-front lighting system.

Our Zadar Tour with Tonka – Stories, History and Local Flavor - We really enjoyed this tour in Zadar! Our guide Tonka was lively, curious, and knew how to explain history in a way that kept us interested.
It covered not only communism and World War II, but also the Italian, Austro-Hungarian, Turkish, German and French occupations, the Yugoslav Kingdom, Communist Yugoslavia and Tito.
We walked through important places in the city, asked all our questions, and finished with a taste of a national drink. A great mix of history, stories and atmosphere!

Lovely tour, lots of info - Tonka had a great sense of humor and really bought the long history of the city to life. She told us just enough about the history of Zadar for us to understand without overloading us and signposted us to where to find out more. Really love the ice cream recommendation and that the tour finished just before sunset. Thanks!

Free Walking Tour Zadar - Our guide, Tonka, was absolutely amazing. She held the entire tour herself and did an outstanding job. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and full of energy. She answered all our questions with genuine enthusiasm and gave us some great local tips – like jumping into the sea near the Sea Organ at sunset!
She also recommended some fantastic places to eat and introduced us to one of the best alcoholic drinks we've ever had. Tonka truly made the experience unforgettable.
If you’re in Zadar, don’t miss this tour – and if you’re lucky enough to have Tonka as your guide, you’re in for something special!

Good overview of Zadar. - Andrija was our tour guide. He took us round the centre of Zadar and explained about the history and the various buildings we saw. Very informative, friendly and engaging. We went to one of the recommended restaurants for lunch and found it too expensive. We found a seaside restaurant instead called Il Padrino which I’d recommend.
