A day outside of Amsterdam - Fun time out from the city is Amsterdam after several days of urban activities. Windmills, cheese maker, clogs, and the fishing village of Vollenham - a nice variety of things to experience.

Great day trip - We had an amazing time on this tour! Visiting the windmills and cheese factory was both fun and educational. Our guide, Elias, was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and engaging. He managed to keep the attention of my three kids (ages 6, 11, and 16), which is no small feat! The tour was well-paced and enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommended!

Fabulous day - This tour was one of the best we’ve ever had. Visiting the wood shoe factory and understanding the importance of that industry seeing the magnificent windmills and marveling at the engeenering involved was an absolute mind blowing experience. The visit to the cheese factory was insightful and enhanced our knowledge of the process of making great cheese. Finally visiting and having lunch at the charming lakeside village of Volendam capped a memorable day. Oh and our guide Younes was awesome.

A delightful tour! - Such a lovely little trip into the countryside! We saw windmills, beautiful villages, and if cheese is your thing, this trip is for you. They turned us loose in a cheese tasting room with about 30 different cheeses to sample, along with mustards and dips. Yum! I also loved visiting the windmill that crushed the pigments for paint. We were able to climb the ladder to the second level (a little dizzying!) and then we bought some little jars of pigment to mix our own paints. We ended with a delicious lunch in a charming fishing village. Everything was so convenient. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel, the van was clean and very comfortable, and our guide was lovely. A great experience.
