Kata Tjuta - The Olgas - Meet the guide in Yulara or Ayers Rock Airport between 1:45 PM and 2:00 PM. Ensure lunch is completed before pickup and have walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle ready for easy access. After a brief drive, arrive at Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), where 36 domes rise majestically from the desert. Enjoy the Walpa Gorge Walk, following the natural creek bed between the towering formations.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park - As evening nears, proceed to the Uluru sunset viewing area and savor a light snack as the changing light transforms the rock into rich earthy tones. Return to camp for dinner and an evening under the stars.

Uluru | Kings Canyon

Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park - Begin early with a stunning Uluru sunrise. Visit one of Uluru’s culturally significant sites, where the guide will share Anangu rock art and creation stories, before completing the full base walk around Uluru.

Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre - After lunch, visit the Cultural Centre to learn more about local First Nations culture and art, then continue to the exclusive campsite near Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon) for dinner.

Kings Canyon - This morning, embark on the iconic Kings Canyon Rim Walk, a spectacular gorge with towering sandstone cliffs. Its rugged landscape shelters over 600 native plant and animal species. Discover highlights like the Lost City, the Garden of Eden, the Amphitheatre, and the North and South Walls of the canyon.

West MacDonnell National Park - Enjoy lunch before driving through much of the afternoon to the overnight camp in the West MacDonnell Ranges. Tonight, join an immersive First Nations star talk beneath the vast, uninterrupted skies of the West MacDonnell Ranges, exploring beyond the constellations you thought you knew into a sky rich with ancient knowledge.

East and West MacDonnell Ranges

MacDonnell Ranges - Often overlooked for its western counterpart, the East MacDonnell Ranges are one of the Outback’s best-kept secrets and home to the Arrernte people, the Traditional Owners of the land. Learn about the Caterpillar Dreaming on a short walk at Emily Gap, an important spiritual site featuring ancient rock art. Continue to Jesse Gap and then Trephina Gorge, where a guided walk among striking quartzite cliffs and rich birdlife awaits.

After exploring the East MacDonnell Ranges, head to the bush camp for the night at Arltunga Eco Pub & Bush Retreat. From one of Australia’s darkest skies, take in the Southern stars and learn about the night sky with the guide.

West MacDonnell Ranges

Ormiston Gorge - Spend the afternoon discovering the dramatic Outback landscapes of the West MacDonnell Ranges. Visit Ormiston Gorge, one of the most photographed locations in the Red Centre.

Redbank Gorge - Watch for black-footed rock wallabies while taking in the vibrant cliffs surrounding the waterhole. Continue to Redbank Gorge and Ellery Creek Big Hole, both popular spots for a refreshing swim. After a full day exploring the West MacDonnell Ranges, return to Alice Springs where the unforgettable five-day journey concludes.
