Our tour should have started at 8 PM. We were there well before that but we waited for quite a while for others, who ended up not showing. The tour guide did not appear happy to be there, as she got out of her car to tell us she was going to sit in her car and wait for the time. Our tour started about 8:15 and we were back in the parking lot and leaving at 9 PM. Not the 90 minute tour promised. The guide did not appear to be that knowledgeable about Yorktown at all. We did not see the battlefield but spent quite a time at the Monument. The group we toured with had younger children and I would recommend people with children tour with people with children, not teens and adults. The tour guide did not make sure that all parties were kept together and we were often last to rejoin group as she was trying to keep up with the young kids. Our tour had already been moved from Saturday night to Sunday so that was already a disappointment. I had purchased a ticket for my husband (who has breathing issues) but since page stated tour was both wheelchair and stroller accessible, I thought no problem for him. Well, thankfully he ended up not going because we did the steps next to the motel to get back to the parking area where are cars were parked. I and my 15 year old son had looked forward to this outing as we don't have a lot of money to put out for recreational outings. I felt we were rushed and if the webpage didn't clearly state NO REFUNDS, I would be asking for my money back. The one good thing I can say about the tour, the weather was incredible. Not a satisfied customer and WILL NOT be recommending this to others.

The guide was very good, and took us to a good number of places. The stories were all very believable, and told a lot about the history of the area. Very enjoyable experience. Made the drive back to Williamsburg a little creepy on the dark road that it is.

It was really fun hearing the stories! So much history to learn! Woody was an awesome and fun guide.....Wish it was a little more suspenseful and spookier!
