A Windy March but Wonderful Visit to Busan - Our time in Busan was truly memorable. While the coastal winds certainly made their presence known, they did little to dampen what turned out to be a fantastic experience in South Korea’s vibrant seaside city. From the colorful hillside charm of Gamcheon Culture Village to the sweeping ocean views at Haeundae Beach, Busan offers a beautiful blend of culture, coastline, and character. The dramatic cliffs and temples overlooking the sea, especially Haedong Yonggungsa, made for unforgettable moments, even with the breeze rolling in from the water. A special highlight of our visit was our exceptional tour guide, Finn. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the day. Finn brought the city’s history and culture to life with context and storytelling that made each stop more meaningful. His professionalism and warmth elevated the entire experience, and we felt well cared for from start to finish. Wind aside, Busan impressed us with its energy, beauty, and hospitality. We would absolutely return, perhaps with a slightly calmer forecast, but with the same great guide if we’re lucky enough to have Finn again. Highly recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyable tour! - Outstanding tour with Mimi. Wonderful to have a small group experience with a local who helped navigate to avoid crowds as much as possible. We were able to decide as a group where to enjoy lunch and have a local explain food dishes. Highly enjoyed this tour and would recommend 100%!

A Fun Day in Busan - Lucy is fun, knowledgeable, and well organized. Timing of each stop on the itinerary was very adequate and not excessive. Appropriate to Busan, she began and ended the tour at the seaside.

A great way to explore Busan from the port - We had a fantastic day out in Busan with Jenny. She met us at the cruise port and took us on a wonderful tour of the city. The vehicle was comfortable, and Jenny was both an excellent driver and a knowledgeable guide. The day was very well organised, and the time flew by. We were thoroughly looked after and learned so much about Busan and South Korea. Jenny went out of her way to ensure everyone had a great experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Thank you, Jenny!

Incredible tour.. ask for Robin - Amazing, Robin was the most gracious host, making sure we all had a good time. Stopping at his local restaurant when our party said they were vegan. Incredible tour and so well structured. Highly recommend you ask for Robin and do this tour. Far cheaper than a cruise ship excursion and gets right into the heart of Busan.

Best tour of the entire cruise - We booked the excursion well in advance as we had planned a few hours stay with the cruise ship in Busan. Everything went as agreed and we were picked up on time at the terminal and also returned on time. The tour was full of great experiences and despite the many points of the program, the tour never seemed rushed and individual. The guide responded to all wishes and told us a lot about Busan and the places visited. The tour had been the best on our entire cruise. Korea Go Tours and especially Dylan and Scott did an excellent job with always a good dose of humor. Should we come back to Busan, then Korea Go Tours is our first port of call.

Great way to tour Busan as a shore excursion - Our guide, who has an adopted Western name of Jason Lee , made contact via WhatsApp the previous night to confirm details for meeting up. After disembarking the ship 20 minutes before our meeting time, we located Jason very quickly and also the other couple who were sharing our tour already with him. After brief introductions, we set off on our tour of Busan. Our first stop was not a scheduled visit and was purely a quick photo visit to see the Busan Cinema Centre, which holds the record for the largest cantilever roof in the world. The roof extends 85 metres from the central support column without any intermediate supports. I thought there wasn't a lot of building considering its footprint, but it was impressive all the same. Next was another photo stop, and this time to see the Haeundae LCT The Sharp towers at Haeundae Beach. 101 floors in the tallest tower, which was the same as the 101 Taipei. The next place was a 25-minute drive to Haedong Yonggungsa, which is a unique Buddhist temple located right on the sea front instead of somewhere mountainous. It was busy but very picturesque, and we spent maybe an hour looking around. All the while we were there, we were able to watch some Buddhist ceremonies being practised and even enter the area where they were happening. Despite there being signs asking people not to photograph these, there were still idiots taking that never-to-be-seen-again holiday snap. Once again, we were on the move and this time for a cable car ride across Songdo Beach. Only a few minutes queuing on either side with a 20-minute visit on the other side for photos. Our next stop was for lunch and was probably the most uncomfortable part of the day, our guide took us around to the Jagalchi Market, which is a fish market with a lot of very live, wiggling items for those who like their seafood fresh. Nicole is vegan so it wasn't the ideal place for her to visit. To make matters worse, our travel companions liked the Idea of having lunch here in the food court. Our guide told Nicole that unbelievably they could conjure up something for her to eat, rice, seaweed and vegetables, so we obliged our fellow travellers of their wish. In the end, Nicole ate really well, and if you could take your mind off of what was going on around, we managed to get through the ordeal. A short distance away was BIFF Square, which is famous for its markets, and this is what we explored next. After a bit of souvenir shopping, we were back in the van and on our way to our final stop, which was to Gamcheon Culture Village, another of Busan's tourist attractions. It has the nickname of Korea's Machu Picchu and is known for its layered streets, narrow alleys, and brightly painted houses. It wasn't that busy and was a nice area to explore and do some window shopping. From there, it was back to the ship to put our feet up it was a long day, and it felt like we had crammed a lot into it.

An Ideal 1-Day Private Cruise Excursion - A great private shore excursion from a cruise ship. Our guide and driver Finn was excellent and the whole day passed without a hitch. Saw all the main sites in the time available and the Korean BBQ at the end was a new experience for us.

Unmistakable display great tour - The tour with JB was great. Also a great car. We award 4 instead of 5 stars because the ad suggests we have a Private VIP Tour. Unfortunately, this was not the case as we had other fellow travellers. It was too expensive for that. But still a great experience and thanks to JB.
