Must do tour at the start of your visit - We had a lovely few hours with Sari. She was full of stories and information. We tried food and drink we would never have been brave enough to on our own!

Solo in Yogyakarta! - I booked a last minute food tour on my first day in Yogyakarta. And I’m glad I did! Sari was my tour guide. She was knowledgeable and friendly. Together, we went on several food outings in the area and I tried the local cuisine. I really enjoyed my tour. I want to note the kindness and consideration Sari shown me. There were some food that were no longer available on the tour. She took down my hotel name and personally delivered it the next day. And some delicious treats to go along with it. Absolutely recommend you do this tour to get a sense of the city. You should ask for Sari when you do.

A great evening and exposure to local food in Yogyakarta - My son and I had a great experience taking this tour with Sari. She completely adjusted the pace of the tour to ours, while introducing us to authentic delicious local food. As this was an off-season time, we were able to complete the entire experience in just over 2.5 hours, with no rush or skipping any of the experiences. Felt like we have been hosted in her hometown and getting a glimpse on how local food culture and life look like in Yogyakarta. Highly recommended.

Colourful! Checked every box! - Sari was gracious, informative, pleasant, humorous, and interested. Her English is amazing and had lots of knowledge to share. This tour had a little bit of everything and was customizable. Our kids were not huge fans of godeg so we pivoted to noodles instead. This was enough food for dinner and a little gift at the end. It poured rain and even provided rain suits for us. This was a highlight for us.

Wonderful guide & slice of nightlife - Sari was my wonderful guide for this tour. It was just me and her so we were able to be flexible and adjust the time and how long we spent at each place. She helpfully answered all my questions about Indonesian food and culture. We tried charcoal coffee and spring rolls and gudeg and ronde and more. Also tried walking blindfolded through a park (successfully!) and rode a motorized rickshaw (it has another name I forgot!) and she got me safely back to my hotel via Grab. We bonded over some similar life circumstances and she took a bunch of great photos. Definitely recommend this tour!

Delicious Food and Fun! - I really enjoyed this experience! Sari was great at telling me about the sights of Yogyakarta and all the places we visited. There was plenty of food, drinks, and snacks to try along the way. I left the night feeling plenty full. Sari was also willing to take pictures at the stops, which was helpful as a solo traveller. This was a great activity early on in my Yogyakarta trip to acquaint myself with the city.
