Azerbaijan

Sheki - Travel to the Lagodekhi border crossing with Azerbaijan. After completing border formalities (expect a short walk with luggage between checkpoints), meet the Azerbaijani guide and proceed to Sheki.

Sheki Khan’s Palace - Tour the medieval fortress, Sheki Khans’ Palace, handicrafts workshop, local mosque-madrassah, and bazaar.

Baku

Juma Mosque - Depart for Baku. En route, visit the historic Juma Mosque and the Yeddi Gumbez (Seven Domes) mausoleum in Shamakhi, the burial site of the Shirvan Shahs.

Baku Old City - Arrive in Baku and enjoy a two-hour evening city tour.

Gobustan

Gobustan Rock Art - Explore the Greater Baku area and the Absheron Peninsula. Begin with Gobustan National Park to view the Petroglyphs Museum and rock engravings dating back to 10,000 BC. Continue to the mud volcanoes of Gobustan Reserve, home to nearly half of the world’s mud volcanoes.
