Noravank is a 13th century monastery located high on the pink and red color rocks,the road going to Noravank is taking by an unbelievable beautiful canion driving between 2 high rocks.There are a lot of caves round there and the most famous one is cave Areni 1 which is also famous as cave of birds where was found the oldest leather shoes in the world which is more than 5500 years old.But first we will visit Khor Virap monastery the nearest point to mountain Ararat and the border of Armenia and Turkey and also ancient prison where St.Gregory was set 13 years.After all this would be great to relax a bit so we will have some wine,brandy and vodka tasting.And at the end of the trip lunch in a nice restaurant on the beach of river Arpa.
