Embark on a full-day excursion to Khor Virap, Noravank Monastery, and Areni Winery. This tour offers a breathtaking view of the Biblical Mount Ararat. Explore the rich history of Noravank and savor Armenian wine at the Wine Factory.
The tour begins at 9:00 am. If there are tourists from various hotels, the exact time will be communicated.
The first stop is Khor Virap, approximately an hour’s drive from Yerevan. It provides a stunning view of Mount Ararat and Sis, offering the perfect opportunity to capture beautiful photos from the closest point to Mount Ararat in Armenia.
Next, the journey continues to Noravank Monastery, where visitors will explore the churches of St. Karapet, St. Grigory the Illuminator, and St. Astvatsatsin. There will be a lunch break at a local restaurant. (Please note that the cost of lunch is not included in the tour price.)
After lunch, the tour proceeds to Areni Winery, where guests can observe Armenian wine production and enjoy a tasting. The tour concludes with a return to Yerevan.
