• Khndzoresk Swinging Bridge - This location features a remarkable collection of rocks, and it’s hard to believe that residential areas once existed here, with Khndzoresk’s population reaching 10-15 thousand at the start of the last century. Residents lived in rock-hewn homes until the 1950s. As a village of historical significance, Khndzoresk is frequently mentioned in the chronicles of the national struggle. The grave of Mkhitar Sparapet, a leader of the 18th-century liberation movement, is located here. The village’s unique character is enhanced by the swinging bridge spanning the gorge, standing up to 63 meters high and 160 meters long. Interestingly, the name Khndzoresk is linked to the gorge’s depth, originally called Khordzoresk.
