Aomak White Beach - Socotri Villages & Dagub Cave

Aomak Beach - Upon arrival, the local team will warmly welcome you with refreshments. After a brief pause, the adventure begins at ‘Aomak’ beach where lunch will be served. Following a satisfying meal, our knowledgeable guides will lead you through the Socotri villages on the Southern plain, which you can explore independently later. The tour concludes with a visit to one of the island’s unique attractions - Dagub cave. Many caves on the island are ancient, with fascinating rock formations, and were historically used by villagers for rituals and as shelter for cattle during the monsoon season. Day one wraps up on Aomak beach with a breathtaking sunset, one of the most beautiful you will ever see. You can choose to camp outdoors or stay overnight at a guesthouse.

DIHAMRI MARINE PROTECTED CORAL RESERVE

Dihamri Marine Protected Area - After breakfast, the journey continues to the Coral Reef at Diharma. After exploring the area, you can choose to swim, snorkel to see the coral reef up close, or go fishing with local fishermen for a chance to catch your dinner! The day concludes on the pristine beach of Diharmi under the stunning Milky Way, a scene straight out of a movie.

KLISSAN RIVER & ARHER TWIN WHITE DUNES

Arher Beach - Located about 30 minutes from Diharmi beach, we will head downhill to the Kilssan river. The canyon is perfect for swimming in its pure, unpolluted waters, and the rocks are ideal for climbing. Lunch will be served on the rocky terrain of the canyon, followed by a drive to ‘Aher’ for another breathtaking seaside experience. Situated on the Eastern side of the island, this beach is unique for its twin white dune formation, where water flows from one of the island’s many caves. The day ends with a campsite set up on the beach under the twinkling stars, with dinner and stories around the fire, or a game of truth and dare…

CAVEHAWK & ARHER BEACH

Arher Beach - As the tour concludes, there will be a drive from Arher beach to Torbeck Village. After refreshments, we will embark on a 1.5-hour hike to ‘Huq’ cave, the largest on the island. The cave measures about 3.5 meters long and 10-14 meters wide, known for its extraordinary stalactites, stalagmites, and subterranean pools. After exploring the cave and enjoying the fresh salty air, we hike back down to return to the campsite on Arher Beach. On our last night on this special island, a special dinner with music and all the trimmings will be hosted!
