First rate - highly recommend1 - Absolutely first rate company and experience. Seeing the Aurora in the NWT has been a bucket list trip that we finally made happen and we were not disappointed. The staff from Yellowknife tours were first rate - from airport pick up, through all of the tours, and finding the most spectacular lights - we couldn't be happier. We learned SO much - about the city and area, the history and of course the aurora. Thanks to all of the team for making this an unforgettable experience.

Careful arrangement, recommended - I always wanted to go to Yellowknife Town to see the great light, but I don't know about this town at all, a friend introduced Yellowknife to tour Yellowknife Tours, discovered that their arrangements were very careful, the boss CK and Anglea affairs were intimate, different from previously attended tour groups, they and all the staff gave them a warm and caring feeling, which left us a deep impression and good memories, recommended.

Highly recommended!! - We joined a 5D4N tour in late September. Yellowknife Tours is a good choice for those who want a fruitful visit and experience in Yellowknife. They have experienced tour guides to show you around the city. They are friendly, helpful and attentive to everyone. We visited Legislative Assembly, Northern Heritage Center, Pilot’s monument, the Great Slave Lake, the home of Dene people, etc. Also, we went hiking and picnic in a morning. A 30-minute hike led us to the Cameron Falls. The view is stunning there. Last but not least, they brought us to a different site to wait for the northern lights every night. We went to lakes, cabin and aurora station. The cozy cabin owned by Tracey is awesome. She served us with freshly made bannock and fish chowder soup which were really tasty even though I’m not a big fan of fish.

Gratitude for the Wonders of Creation - As I stand beneath the shimmering dance of the aurora borealis, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude. This breathtaking spectacle is a reminder of the beauty and majesty of God's creation. The vibrant colors swirling across the night sky evoke a deep appreciation for the artistry and wonder of the universe. In moments like these, I am reminded of the countless blessings bestowed upon me—both seen and unseen. Each star twinkling above serves as a testament to God's love and grace, illuminating my path even in the darkest times. I feel a deep connection to the divine, recognizing that every breath I take, every experience I have, is a gift. I am thankful for the moments of peace and reflection that nature provides. The stillness of the night, accompanied by the ethereal glow of the aurora, allows me to pause and reflect on the goodness in my life. It is in these moments that I understand the importance of gratitude—acknowledging the beauty around me and the love that surrounds me. May I always carry this sense of appreciation in my heart, recognizing that every day is an opportunity to witness the miracles of life. Thank you, God, for the beauty of the world and the blessings that fill my life.

Mindblowing - We could hardly believe what we were seeing! I've been obsessed wit h the aurora and following every photo and video anyone posts, and I had no idea they could be this amazing. I'm so grateful to our hardworking guide Janet for chasing the lights around three lakes and advising the bus driver to pull aside on the road, where we saw the most mind-blowing display around 1:30 am for the grand finale. She also pointed out a fox and shooting star. Janet also took beautiful photos of the lights and us experiencing the wonder.

Amazing time! - Excellent 5 day - 4 night package to view the Aurora Borealis. Tour was very well organized. Enjoyed the different venues each night. The hospitality at each venue was welcoming as were the warm drinks and food. Tour guides were informative, friendly and patient. Top marks to Janet, Winnie, Angus and Tracy. Explorer Hotel accommodations included breakfast. Hotel room, service and food were very good. We highly recommend Yellowknife Tours.

not worth it. - it was a tour guide and a driver. The driver was very rude, and did nothing but drove the tour bus. which is kind of ridiculous because the guide can just drive. I think that's what makes this tour more expensive than others and the funny thing is it doesn't make any difference at all. this waste of manpower leads to the waste of your money. the guide was chinese, it was hard to understand her for a non-native english speaker like me
