Well done! - The city tour is part of the 4 days Aurora tour. The city tour is well organized with popular sites and a visit to the "wild life" museum - every sites were covered with sufficient times and information to let you under the NW area better. For the other activities included in this 4 days package, they are all well implemented by Yellow Knife travel's team! They are all friendly and well prepared. Best of all, there aren't any charges for all the included services! Well done!

Very interesting - Our guide, Angus, led us on a tour starting with visits to the Bush Pilots Monument, Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre, Northwest Territories Legislative Assembly, and Nature's North Wildlife Gallery, which was very interesting and featured an array of taxidermy animals. The owner also provided insights into the taxidermy process. Subsequently, we obtained a certificate from the Yellowknife Visitor Centre before concluding our tour with lunch at a local restaurant.

Highlights of Yellowknife in 4 hrs - This was a great 4 hour tour led by Angus! We hit all of the major attractions that were on my list. Welcome Sign, Ice Road, Snowkings’ Castle, Bush Pilot Monument, Legislative Assembly, Bristol Monument, Nature’s North Wildlife Gallery, Old Town, downtown, the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre and Visitors Centre. The tour gave us a very good overlay of Yellowknife. Don’t forget to have a hearty breakfast before the tour begins!

A Great Way to Get to Know Yellowknife and her People - Exceeded expectations. We learned about the indigenous population of the NWT (a subject neglected by the Alberta public school system when I was growing up way back in the last century:) Yellowknife is no longer the scrub town I remember when I visited over 40 years ago but a growing city contains over half the population of the NWT with some thoughtful, pragmatic but beautifully designed government buildings honoring the history and spirit of indigenous people. The museum is well designed and a highlight. Walking 88 steps up "The Rock" the highest point overlooking Yellowknife and the Great Slave Lake is a must: very vile that day but fun. Our guide Verda made our tour a great experience. If you have never been to Yellowknife or like me--have not been to Yellowknife in a long time--I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this tour.

Good way to see and learn about Yellowknife - Guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. One of the stops advertised was omitted- believe it was closed though. That said, would still recommend.
