Wonderful Experience - I’ve always wanted to go ice fishing and had a wonderful experience with Sai. My best friend and I had a fun time. Sai was amazing at teaching and providing us guidance. 10/10. I would do it again.

Great experience - The experience was great! Sai was amazing and super friendly. Unfortunately, none of us caught a fish but it was a great time regardless. Sai cooked some Inconnu for us and it was delicious. I recommend for something new to do, we’d never done it before and it was really nice.

Amazing Ice Fishing Tour with the Kindest Guide - I had an amazing ice fishing tour experience in Yellowknife, and it’s something I will truly never forget. This tour created one of the most memorable moments of my life. From start to finish, everything was well organized and enjoyable. Our guide, Sai, was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. He made us feel comfortable right away and explained everything clearly, even for beginners like me. Thanks to him, time flew by so quickly while we were fishing. I didn’t even realize how long we had been out on the ice because I was having such a great time. One of the most special parts of this experience was taking photos with the fish we caught. It felt so unique and exciting, and I will definitely treasure those memories forever. It’s not something you get to do every day, and it made the whole trip even more meaningful. The food provided during the tour was also delicious and exceeded my expectations. It was warm, comforting, and perfect for the cold weather, which made the experience even better. Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Yellowknife. The combination of beautiful scenery, fun activities, great food, and especially the kindness of the guide made this an unforgettable experience. I would absolutely do this again and recommend Sai to anyone looking for a fantastic ice fishing adventure.

Fun thing to do in Yellowknife - Well run experience from pick up to drop off! Great thing to do especially when it’s cold. Huts are heated ( wood burning stove) and we had to remove our jackets, it’s that warm and cozy. Sai and Willy made sure we were well looked after and cooked us up a yummy lunch. Don’t hesitate to book!

Fishing in the colourful huts was so fun! Fish lunch was delicious - We got to jig fish in the heated colour huts and it was such a great experience to be sheltered from the cold. I could fish without my gloves on and it was pretty warm because there was a fire going for the stove. Outside was -35 C that day so I was so happy to be inside a hut. I didn't catch any fish but my partner almost caught a fish but it got away. They still feed you a yummy fish lunch! I had a fun time though just trying to fish and being out on the lake! Our guide Sai was very knowledgable and cooked up such an incredible fish lunch for us!

Disappointing experience - First- know this fishing excursion is not on the Great Slave lake. It's on a smaller shallow lake that is contaminated with arsenic. Sounded like fish are not often caught - none caught in our cabin. The guide was friendly and tried to be helpful but it's too much for one person to auger the holes and get 12 people in 3 huts set up to fish. Some were not set up for over an hour. The other man was said to be cooking lunch, which came after almost 2 hours. Lunch was a piece of fish, a frozen roll, no beverage, no napkins. Other than handing in the paper plates of food, guides never checked back in and were found sitting in their car. The cabins are warm and beautifully constructed, but the experience was lacking.
