Yellowknife - A guide will warmly welcome guests at the airport and transport them to the hotel for check-in.

Yellowknife - Guests will meet the guide at the hotel to embark on an evening of combined Aurora Chasing and Aurora Lodge Tour.

The advantage of a combined tour is that, on a cold and clear night, the lodge provides a superior and comfortable experience with a variety of beverages and snacks available, along with a warm and cozy lodge for guests to relax and recover from the cold. On a cloudy night, guests will spend more time aurora chasing to enhance the chances of witnessing the aurora.

Photography services and digital original photos are complimentary, with up to 3 photos per guest.

The standard tour time is from 10:00 pm to 02:00 am. The tour start time may be adjusted due to extraordinary aurora or cloud activities.

Guests have the option to reschedule this activity to another night if the weather is unfavorable.

Day 2

Yellowknife - Guests will meet the guide at the hotel to enjoy an exciting Ice Fishing Tour, where they will use skill and luck to catch fish through jig fishing. The tour includes a fresh fish fry lunch, cooked and served on the ice. Guests will savor the lunch in well-heated cabins. After lunch, if conditions permit, guests will participate in traditional net fishing.

Yellowknife - Guests will meet the guide at the hotel to join another night of combined Aurora Chasing and Aurora Lodge Tour.

Photography services and digital original photos are complimentary, with up to 3 photos per guest.

The standard tour time is from 10:00 pm to 02:00 am. The tour start time may be adjusted due to extraordinary aurora or cloud activities.

Day 3

Yellowknife - Guests will meet the guide in the hotel lobby to embark on an exhilarating Snowmobile Adventure.

Each guest will receive a comprehensive orientation and be equipped with a heated helmet.

Each guest will ride a snowmobile, with the standard riding distance being approximately 15 km or 10 miles. Riding time is between 50-60 minutes.

Three tours are available per day: 10:00, 12:00, 14:30.

Inquire about upgrading to a longer tour to visit the Ice Cave.

Yellowknife - Guests will meet the guide in the hotel lobby to enjoy a magical night of aurora viewing.

Guests will stay inside cozy wood cabins on the frozen lake. Snacks, hot beverages, and photography services with digital originals are all included.

Inquire about upgrading to a Private Cabin.

The standard tour start time is 21:30.

Guests can opt to reschedule this tour to another night if the weather is poor.

Yellowknife Visitor Centre and Information - After the snowmobile tour, guests will embark on a mini city tour, visiting all the famous landmarks of the city, including The Ice Road, Bristol Monument, Pilot Monument, and making a final stop at the Visitor Center for a small souvenir gift (postcard, “Survived in the North” certificate, and a stylish pin). During March, a short visit to the Ice Castle is also included (guests are responsible for the Ice Castle gate fee of $10).

Departure Day

Yellowknife - A driver will transport guests from hotels to participate in a traditional Dog Sledding Tour. The total tour time is over 2 hours, including transportation.

Yellowknife - Guests may reschedule another night’s aurora activity to this night.

Departure Day

Yellowknife Airport - A driver will transfer guests to the airport 2 to 2.5 hours before departure time.

Spectacular Aurora Borealis viewing in Yellow Knife with Destination Nwt Limited - The staff of Destination Nwt Limited was great. Friendly, helpful, and committed to ensuring we had great trip. No lack of opportunities to hunt for Northern Lights. The only suggestions for changes pertain to some of the daytime activities. I'm not much of a fisherman, so the day spent ice fishing, not catching, was a bust. Others in our group felt the same. Also, the snowmobile tour was set up well, except that they didn't have helmets that were adequate for persons who wore glasses.

Great experience with Destination NWT - Had a great experience there December 27 - Jan 1. No additional fees for any activities there, including snowmobile, dog sledding, ice fishing and multiple aurora trips. They are trying their best to help us see the Aurora and enjoy the journey there, not limited to aurora trips included in the description. We celebrated New Year's Eve together by watching the Fireworks and countdown in the aurora lodge. Recommended.

Experience all the must-play tour package at once - Thank you to Leon, Momo, Tina and Ivy for taking care of us during our trip to Yellow Knight Town – even during the busy Christmas New Year holidays. Everyone was very kind and friendly! In addition to seeing the lights of the dance in person, they also help us to take photos with the lights, and also provide photos at the end of the experience - very recommended to participate in such activities, you can experience all the charm of the Yellow Knight Town at once!

An unforgettable experience - It was a nice trip! We saw the fantastic aurora. All the activities were organized well. We had warm places to stay while waiting for the northern lights. The staff offered us food and drink, and took us to watch the new year fireworks, which was very considerate.

The perfect place for day activities and night Aurora tours to enjoy Yellownail - Really the best choice. Usually a single viewing / lodge / hunting, but most of them are available and don't have tours, which allows you to experience all of the viewing lodge hunting, including activity. I went alone, but I could enjoy Yellow Navy. It's hard to experience when you don't have the right schedule, like a dog crawler or a snowmobil. It's set to do everything here, pick up and pick up on time. When we calculated the total amount, it varied from 70,000 to 100,000 in comparison to putting one for an individual reservation, but we decided to schedule and pick up everything and chose this. If only Korean language is available, it will be a Korean tour, but you can enjoy it enough if you only have basic English, so those who want to visit Yellow Nip and enjoy Aurora should definitely choose this tour. I have decided to choose this tour with one person's travel and it's only a day's tour and a night's tour. If you're looking at this tour, you'll be able to choose from one of these options. しかも他のもツアーよりは安くて良かったです. 個人で昼間のツアーを選択して行く面倒もなく充实で本当におすすめのツアーです。もし今後また行くならばここのツアー choose!

nice activities, nice people - I enjoyed the activities and the service very much. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. The one star reduction is only for the price, as I feel like I paid a little too much. If you're looking for a few days without having to plan or stress over anything, it's worth it though.

Great way to experience all Yellowknife has to offer. - The daytime excursions are a little short. However, due to the extreme cold while we were visiting that was probably a good thing.

Beautiful aurora, not much sleep - Auroras: We went on this trip for New Years. Of the three nights we did aurora tours, we had two very very faint auroras and one that was quite strong. Be prepared for the possibility that you might not see any auroras in your three viewing nights, but the tour guides give you the best chances of seeing it. They also take a ton of professional photos that come out beautifully. Timing: We were getting dropped off at our hotel around 1am most nights, and some of the day tours pick you up at 9:30am. With so little time between tours it’s impossible to get a full nights sleep. However, you have plenty of time to nap between the morning tour and the night tour. A lot of the stores around there close at sundown (3pm ish) as well, so that was a bit annoying to deal with. Tours: I think the dog sledding was the most beautiful event we had. The guide there takes photos and videos of you during the sledding trip and it’s a comfortable ride. My partner enjoyed the snow mobiling the most, but keep in mind that it gets extremely cold from the wind blowing around you. The ice fishing was a pretty cool concept, but we were there for four hours, and our group of 4 didn’t get so much as a bite. However, it was unusually cold that day. Weather: Having gone in early January, it was around -30 Celcius most days. They have gear that will keep you warm, but even that gets cold after a while. I recommend bringing electric hand warmers. Plan to cover your face as much as possible as well. Your eyelashes and boogers will freeze almost instantly upon walking outside. It’s a strange feeling but you get used to it quickly.
