• Taukkyan War Cemetery - Guests are collected from their hotel or Yangon International Airport by our guide. Travel to the Htauk-Kyant Alliance WWII cemetery, a memorial site for Allied Soldiers who perished in the Myanmar Campaign during World War II.
• Bago - The journey continues to Bago, located 80 km northeast of Yangon, once the ancient capital of the Mon kingdom from the 1st to the 16th Century AD.
  Upon arrival in Bago, the tour includes highlights such as the Kya Khat Wai Monastery, one of the three largest monasteries in the country, where visitors can observe Buddhist monastic life and witness the silent lunch of thousands of monks at 10:30 am. Later, explore the impressive Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, a temple over 2,000 years old. Visit HintharGone, the legendary hill with 37 Nats’ shrines, and learn about the Cult of Myanmar People from the local tour guide. Also, visit the Kanbawzathardi Palace Site, renowned for King Bayint Naung of the 15th Century AD.

Enjoy a typical Myanmar lunch at a local restaurant.

After lunch, visit Shwe Thar Lyaung, the reclining Buddha, which is 55 meters long and dates back to 994 AD. See Mya Thar Lyaung, the colossal reclining Buddha image recently restored. Explore the famous Kal-yar-ni Sima (Ordination Hall) with 10 huge stone inscriptions, and the Maha Cedi Pagoda. If time allows, observe a local “Cheroot” mild-cigar making industry in Bago. Finally, visit Kyaik-Pun, featuring four huge seated Buddha images in the open air. In the late afternoon, return to Yangon, transfer to your hotel, and conclude the tour.
