- Jingshan Park (Jingshan Gongyuan) - The tour guide will meet the group at the hotel at 4:00 p.m. Then, the group will transfer to Jingshan Park to begin the multi-night tour. Jingshan Park is beautifully landscaped with hills to climb, clear lakes, and majestic ancient buildings. Once an imperial garden in Beijing, it has now become a tranquil public park. Due to its proximity to the north of the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park offers the best vantage point for a panoramic view of the Forbidden City and central Beijing. At dusk, the group will ascend Jingshan to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Forbidden City, with the palace eaves glowing in the golden rays of the setting sun.
- Qianmen Main Street Mall - The group will stroll along Qianmen Street and Dashilan, sampling local traditional snacks. Situated along the central axis of Beijing City, Qianmen Street is a renowned pedestrian street for shopping and sightseeing, stretching from the Archery Tower of Qianmen in the north to the edge of Tiantan Park in the south. It spans 840 meters in length and 21 meters in width, featuring buildings styled after the late Qing Dynasty. With a history of over 570 years, Qianmen Street has become a key nightlife destination for locals and symbolizes authentic local culture. Visitors can experience a traditional Chinese lifestyle.
- Dashilan - Dashilan is centrally located in ancient Beijing city and is a significant part of the southern middle axis. It lies south of Tian’anmen Square and west of Qianmen Street. Dashilan Street is the oldest, most famous, and distinctive commercial street in Beijing’s hutongs. Stretching 275 meters from east to west, Dashilan is a narrow street lined with numerous shops, attracting many tourists daily. In the 1.26 square kilometer area surrounding Dashilan shopping street, many ancient Beijing buildings are well-preserved.
The group will then transfer to Liyuan Theatre to enjoy a captivating Peking Opera performance, showcasing China’s most iconic culture.
- Liyuan Theatre - Peking opera, or Beijing opera, known as “the quintessence of China,” showcases a uniquely Chinese art form. As one of the classic art forms of imperial China, Beijing Opera remains a cultural tradition in the modern era. Reflecting the grandeur and dramatic storytelling from the mid Qing Dynasty (late 18th century), the actors and actresses bring China’s history to life with their vibrant costumes and melodious voices. It combines acrobatics, singing, and dancing. The highlights of Peking opera include stylistic role-play, facial make-up, costumes, vocal skills, and traditional music.
Afterwards, the group will return to the hotel using public transportation. Cherish the memories and bid farewell at the hotel.
