The first stop is the Yangling Mausoleum of the Han Dynasty (Hanyangling Museum), the joint tomb of Liu Qi, a notable emperor of the Western Han (206 BC-220 AD), and Empress Wang. Constructed in 153 AD, it spans an area of 20 square kilometers (4,942 acres) and is a magnificent cultural relic. Upon arrival, enter the underground tomb and walk directly above the exhibit, allowing a view to the bottom and an understanding of how these army figurines differ from the world-famous Qin Terracotta Warriors.
