- The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Often referred to as “the Eighth Wonder of the World,” the Terracotta Warriors museum features an astonishing number of sculptures, making it the most significant archaeological discovery of the 20th century.
- Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - The City Wall is the most complete, well-preserved, and largest city wall in China. Originally built for military defense in ancient times, it encircles the city, and you have the option to ride a bike on top of it.
- Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - This is a well-preserved ancient building and a sacred place for Buddhists. It was constructed to house sutras and figurines of the Buddha brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Monk Xuanzang.
- Muslim Quarter - Bell & Drum Tower Square-Muslim Quarter: Situated in the center of Xi’an city, these are symbols of Xi’an. The Muslim Quarter is a famous food street in Xi’an and even in China, where you can find many authentic local snacks and handicrafts.
- Xi’an Mosque - A primary Islamic site for religious activities in Xi’an. Unlike mosques in Arabic regions, the mosque in Xi’an features a lot of traditional Chinese style in both its design and artistic appearance.
- Xi’an - There are also other places worth visiting, such as the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi’an Museum, Yongxingfang Street, Gao Family Yard, Banpo Museum, etc. Please mention your choices when booking the tour.

We had a great time. We... - We had a great time. We went to Xi’an to see the terracota warriors on Dec 18, 2025 and we had a great time. Judy (our tour guide) and the driver picked us up at our hotel lobby exactly on the agreed time.
Judy was friendly and very knowledgeable, patient and very gentle-mannered. The driver safely drove us to our destination despite the congested Xi’an traffic. We did the tour to our preference. Judy recommended a nice place for lunch close to the Muslim quarters.
After lunch, we asked Judy to just walk us to the Bell and Drum tower then Muslim quarters. After that, we were aleeady tired so we asked to be dropped to our hotel.
Everything was convenient and easy. Thanks Judy for making our Terracota warriors trip convenient.

Lovely experience - We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Noble, was very friendly, careful, helpful and knowledgeable. He told us a lot of interesting things about the history of China. His way of telling stories was really appealing. His spoken English was really good, we understood each and every word he said. It was a real pleasure to have him as our guide. He showed us every interesting spot for pictures. His suggestion about the place to have lunch was really good, the food was really tasty.
We followed his suggestions about customizing our tour and it was perfect.
If I'd had to book this tour again, I would do it without question.

A truly wonderful day out! - Sasha was a brilliant guide! We chose a day tour that included the terracotta warriors, the Xi’an city wall, and the muslim quarter. It ended up being just us two on the tour which meant Sasha was perfectly adaptable and accomodating to us. First we visited the warriors, about one hour away from the city. Sasha knows her history extremely well and was able to answer any and all of my questions about China’s long impressive culture and history on the way. When we arrived she gave us a very comprehensive tour of the warriors museum with a complete history from their creation to their excavation. Afterwards, she recommended a show for us to see at a theatre on the way back where the audience rotates between six different stages. If she recommends this to you, make sure you do it! It was the most impressive theatre show I have ever seen in my life. Real wolves, camels, insanely high production value. It was incredible. Afterwards we went to the City Wall, where Sasha was able to give us a lesson on its remarkable history and aid us in renting a bicycle. Definitely recommend this too! A very enjoyable experience. We then went to the muslim quarter to explore it’s bustling street food scene, though we were not hungry and wanted to go to the Great Mosque instead. Sasha even knew the incredible history and customs of Xi’an’s local muslim population too and guided us around the Mosque despite it not being apart of the itinerary. I would definitely recommend a tour with Sasha. It is obvious she is a deeply passionate and knowledgeable Xi’an local who genuinely cares about sharing her city’s culture and history with foreigners. Plus, she speaks perfect english and gave us many recommendations for the rest of our time in this city. Thank you Sasha for a wonderful day out in Xi’an.

Highly recommend Xian Day Tour from Beijing by Round-way air - Would strongly recommend this trip - it all went like clockwork from pick up at our hotel in Beijing through to drop off again. The driver and guide were excellent - Joy our guide was exactly that - a joy to spend the day with - very knowledgeable, personable and very helpful. The trip to the Terracotta Army was incredible and well worth the early start to get there - would highly recommend! We also managed to see the City Walls and the Muslim Street so a full and fun packed informative day!

Highly recommend ChinaXianTour company - This was my second trip to China using the services of ChinaXian Tour company & both times everything went perfectly. Our consultant, Amy, was always available if we had any questions & the tour guides & drivers were excellent. I have not had better service anywhere in my trips overseas. The trip was thoroughly planned & everything ran perfectly. I highly recommend ChinaXian tours.
Xi'an is a beautiful city definitely worth a visit, or two. The Terracotta Warriors are amazing but so is the city and the delicious food!

Great Service and Trip, nice guide and driver - I booked a custom trip from China Xian Tour with Sophia, and she arrange our trip with very patient and accurate. We have a great time in Beijing with Iris, and in Xi'an with Sasha. One thing that we have missunderstanding is, I forgot to tell them that my group can't speak english, and half of us can understand Chinese very well. But the guide is very helpfull, and help me to easily translate them into our language (Indonesia). The driver is very kind, and helpful too. They even help some elder in my group when they get in the bus. The hotel choice is great. And the guide be able to arrange the trip effectively when there's some special conditions. We are able to visit all the place in our itinery. Thank you Sophia, will surely join your tour again when we visit China in another time.

Incredible trip - WOW. Thank you so much for your superb organisation. From start to finish the trip was expertly and efficiently run. The drivers were courteous and professional. The airport transfer was seamless and Simon, our English speaking guide, was waiting for us when we landed in Xian. The trip to see the Terracotta Army was unforgettable and our friendly guide who accompanied us throughout was incredibly knowledgeable.
After a fabulous lunch we went to see the old walls and then to the Muslim quarter of Xian where we went around the markets experiencing some of the local delicacies. Again Simon was extremely helpful and was able to advise us.
I can't thank you enough for this wonderful trip and want to pass on my thanks to Simon who was very informative and really helped to make this trip so special.

Xi’an Perfection - Sophia from our first contact, when this trip was just an idea a dream that became a amazing experience. Sophia contacted me throughout,We were picked up from the hotel, where we were taken to Beijing train station. We travelled to Xi’an by over night sleeper train from Beijing. In the morning our guide Simon and driver Trevor were waiting for us, we visited the factory shop where the make the warriors in a similar way with the same clay, this was a great shopping opportunity, we then headed to to Emperor Qin Shi Huangs Mausoleum. This at first glance looks like the entrance to a Disney theme park. But we were absolutely blown away with the easy accessible 3 pits of Terracotta Warriors. Utterly breathtaking Simon kept us well informed with facts and figures and showed us all the best photo points. We never felt rushed we went at our own pace, This tour is perfect well managed and only when we were ready did we leave. We took a break for lunch which was divine and then a tour of the walled city of Xi’an bell tower and Muslim Street. Simon was the nicest most informative guide I cannot recommend this tour enough it was the highlight of our tour. We were taken back to the train station and were shown which entrance to take faultless, we were picked up by a driver in Beijing and taken back to the hotel a perfect end to a perfect tour
