- The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - The tour begins at 7:30 a.m. to avoid the crowds.
Approximately an hour later, the group will arrive at the Terra-cotta Army Museum. This museum is constructed on the original site of the Terra-cotta Army to ensure its preservation. The museum consists of three pits, each containing different terracotta figures and weapons, organized according to their roles in battle. The focus will be on Pit 1 and Pit 2, as they house the majority of the discovered figures. It is believed that the site contains a total of 8,000 soldiers, though only a portion is currently visible, with some remaining unexcavated. This brief tour offers insights into the history, society, and culture of the Qin Dynasty.
- Huaqing Palace - In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to the final site of the day, Huaqing Palace. This palace served as a retreat for Emperor Longji of the Tang Dynasty, who sought respite from court life and enjoyed the renowned hot springs. The Emperor’s famous concubine, Yang Yuhuan, frequently bathed here, which is why several ancient bathtubs are present. Their time at the palace is remembered through a beautiful love story passed down through generations. Visitors can still see the trees they planted together, under which they wished to remain united until death. Many couples visit to make similar wishes.
After the tour, participants will be transported back to the city for rest.
