The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Guests will be picked up at 8:00 AM in the hotel lobby. After about an hour’s drive, they will arrive at one of China’s most remarkable attractions—the magnificent Terra-cotta Warriors Museum. Thousands of life-sized soldiers, each with unique expressions, and horses accompany the burial of China’s first emperor, who also constructed the Great Wall. The Terra-cotta Warriors Museum is part of a large mausoleum complex built by Qin Shi Huang.
Xi’an - After lunch, visitors will have the chance to explore an intangible cultural heritage that is rapidly vanishing in the central plains—the lifestyle of cave dwellers. They will visit Mrs. Huang’s home, one of the last remaining cave dwellers in this small village. Guests will tour her home, learn about the history and evolution of cave dwelling residents, and have the opportunity to ask questions.
Xi’an Bell Tower - In the afternoon, guests will head downtown to climb the Bell Tower. This classical building features carved beams and painted rafters. It stands at the center of downtown where the North, South, East, and West Streets converge. The tower houses a large bell that was originally used to mark time each morning in ancient times.
Muslim Quarter - Conclude the day by exploring Xi’an’s Muslim heritage with a stroll down Muslim Street, Xi’an’s street-food hub. Guests can sample Chinese Muslim cuisine, from lamb kebabs to noodles and pancakes, and watch as the food is prepared before their eyes.
City Wall, Xi’an Museum, Gourmet Street of Han People, Big Goose Pagoda, Nightless City of Great Tang (Night Tour)
Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - The first stop today is the Xi’an City Wall, one of the most complete ancient city walls in China. From the top, visitors can enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the ancient city and even ride a bike around the wall.
Xi’an Museum - Later, guests will visit the Xi’an Museum, which houses a unique collection of relics unearthed from Xi’an, dating back thousands of years. As Xi’an was not only the ancient capital of China but also the start of the Silk Road, visitors can explore the city’s rich culture and history through these artifacts.
Xi’an - Lunch will be enjoyed on the intangible cultural gourmet street, where guests can indulge in a variety of foods. They can savor local Han people’s snacks and dishes at different small workshops, with the only challenge being what to choose.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - After lunch, visitors will explore the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which has stood in the Buddhist temple for over 1,300 years and is considered a symbol of ancient Xi’an. Xuanzang, the famous monk of the Tang Dynasty, obtained Buddhist scriptures from India and translated them in this temple.
Xi’an - In the evening, guests will embark on a night tour to the Nightless City of Great Tang, a recreation of the ancient Tang Dynasty capital, Chang’an. It offers a unique and immersive experience to explore the rich cultural heritage of one of the most prosperous periods in Chinese history. This location also hosts a variety of performances and shows, including traditional Chinese opera, acrobatics, and street performances. After the night tour, guests will be returned to their hotel.
