Xi’an City Wall (Chengqiang) - Day 1: Beijing to Xi’an

In the morning, head to Beijing West Railway Station to board the high-speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, a guide will greet you at the train station according to your schedule. You will then be taken to visit the City Wall, the most well-preserved and largest city wall in China, originally built for military defense in ancient times. Optional bike riding on the City Wall is available.

Drum Tower Square - Next, explore the Bell and Drum Tower Square, located in the heart of Xi’an city. Enjoy some free time to capture memorable photos of the Bell and Drum Tower’s exterior.

Muslim Quarter - Visit Muslim Street, a lively street filled with various foods. The guide will introduce you to the local flavors, and you can sample some delicious local snacks if you wish.

Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City - In the late afternoon, dive into the vibrant atmosphere of Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City. This cultural and entertainment complex offers a unique mix of history and modernity. As you stroll through the city, you’ll encounter recreations of Tang Dynasty architecture, bustling markets, and lively street performances. Explore the attractions, perhaps visiting traditional tea houses or souvenir shops along the way. The city is designed to transport you back in time, allowing you to experience the rich heritage of the Tang Dynasty.

Xi’an to Beijing by Bullet Train (B)

The Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses - Today’s tour begins with the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World.” The museum showcases an impressive level of sculpture and is located about 30km east of Xi’an Central City, approximately a 50-minute drive. The original site was discovered by four local farmers drilling a well in 1974. It has since become Xi’an’s most important attraction - the Terracotta Army and Horse Museum. The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2, and Pit 3, as well as the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. Pit 1 is the largest of the three. The museum and the mausoleum are listed as world cultural legacies by UNESCO.

Beijing West Railway Station - Proper drop-off service will be provided. You will be transferred to Xi’an North Train Station to catch the return train to Beijing. Upon arrival in Beijing, please make your way back to your home or hotel. Have a pleasant journey.

Xi’an - After the tour, you will be dropped off at Xi’an North Train Station for the high-speed train back to Beijing.
