Xiamen - In the morning, the tour guide and driver will collect the operator from the hotel around 08:00. The journey to Yongding County will take approximately 3 hours to explore the famous Hongkeng Hakka Tulou Cluster, recognized as a World Cultural Heritage Site.

Yongding Earth Building - During the drive, the guide will provide a brief overview of Hongkeng, a historic village in the Yongding District of Fujian. This peaceful village houses over 30 Tulous, traditional Hakka earthen structures, mostly built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911). This Xiamen day tour to Yongding Tulou offers a unique opportunity to witness these rare cultural heritage sites.

Upon arrival, the operator will be guided to the Zhencheng Building, also known as the “Eight Diagrams Building,” renowned for its impressive exterior and intricate interior design. Next, visit the palace-like Kuiju Building, noted for its unique quadrate architecture. The guide will then lead the operator to the Rusheng Building, a small, compact round tower. The final stop on this Xiamen Tulou tour will be the Fuyu Building.

Xiamen - After lunch, the operator will be escorted back to the hotel in Xiamen.

Xiamen - In the morning, the tour guide and driver will pick up the operator from the hotel around 09:00. They will be transferred to a ferry for a 10-minute boat ride to Gulangyu Island to begin this private Xiamen day tour.

Gulangyu Island - The first destination is Shuzhuang Garden, located in the southern part of the island. The garden, cleverly designed around the natural landscape, consists of two sections: the Garden of Hiding the Sea (Canghaiyuan) and the Garden of Making-Up Hills (Bushanyuan). The operator will then visit the Piano Museum, which showcases a vast collection of historic and modern pianos from Hu Youyi’s collection. Gulangyu Island is a popular tourist destination due to its pleasant climate and stunning views. From afar, it resembles a charming garden floating on the sea. Strolling leisurely around the island, the operator will be captivated by the blend of Chinese and foreign architectural styles, vibrant flowers, lush trees, and the captivating coastline scenery. Once a private garden, the villa-style Shuzhuang Garden on the island features many beautiful structures such as pavilions and houses. In the Piano Museum within Shuzhuang Garden, visitors can also gain insight into the history of this musical instrument.

Nanputuo Temple - After lunch, the Xiamen day trip will continue to the South Putuo Temple, a renowned temple in China and home to the Buddhist College of Minnan. The South Putuo Temple, an ancient Buddhist temple originally constructed during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907), boasts a large and impressive scale, primarily consisting of four buildings: Devajara Hall, Mahavira Hall, Dabei Hall, and the scripture library. Those interested in Buddhist culture will find the sacred Buddhist statues and treasures within the temple truly fascinating.

Huli Mountain Fort - Following this, the guide will accompany the operator to the Hulishan Battery Scenic Spot, a military outpost built during the late Qing dynasty. Today, it showcases cannonry from the Qing dynasties. If time allows, the operator can stroll along the Island Ring Road to enjoy the breathtaking seascape and man-made scenery.

Xiamen - Finally, the operator will be escorted back to the hotel in Xiamen.

Xiamen - Mount Wuyi by train. O/N Nanping.

100 Inn Xiamen Railway Station - In the morning, the guide and driver will meet the operator at the hotel and drive to the Xiamen railway station to board the bullet train to Mount Wuyi, possibly taking the G1652 09:00–11:55. The train journey lasts around 3 hours.

Jiuqu Stream in Wuyishan Mountain - After lunch, the operator will head to Mount Wuyi and embark on a unique bamboo raft cruise for 2 to 3 hours along the Nine-bend River in Mount Wuyi. The 62.8-km (40-mi) long river meanders along the mountain base, with the landscape of mountains and rivers changing accordingly. Rafting down the river amidst the picturesque scenery is a must for tourists on a Mount Wuyi tour.

Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort - After the scenic rafting, the operator will visit Wuyi Palace, where emperors once performed ritual offerings to the gods. Two ancient osmanthus trees, over a thousand years old, stand as witnesses to the historical events that occurred in the palace yard, along with four stone steles bearing relevant inscriptions.

Nanping - At the end, the guide will escort the operator to the hotel.

Wuyi Mountain Scenic Resort - In the morning, the operator will visit the Heavenly Tour Peak (Tian you feng), the most stunning section of the Nine-bend River, offering a breathtaking view of the steep Danxia land formation. The operator will also enjoy a panoramic view of the fairyland Mount Wuyi, surrounded by clouds and jagged peaks.

After lunch, the operator will be guided to the Dahongpao Scenic Area canyon to observe the three authentic Dahongpao Tea Trees on the steep rock. Due to its rarity, Dahongpao Tea is regarded as the King of Tea. Numerous famous natural and man-made landscapes are visible.

A trek to the waterfalls in Water Curtain Cave will conclude today’s Wuyishan private tour.

Nanping - Finally, the guide will escort the operator to the hotel or Wuyi airport/train station, marking the end of the tour services.
