Gulangyu Island - At 9:00 am, your personal guide and driver will collect you from your Xiamen hotel and take you to the ferry terminal. Enjoy a peaceful 20-minute ferry ride to your first destination, Gulangyu Island, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The island spans approximately 2 km² and is celebrated for its stunning natural landscapes, historical sites, and diverse architecture. It is considered one of the top ten scenic spots in Fujian Province.

Riguang Mountain - Upon reaching Gulangyu Island, known as the “garden on the sea,” you will ascend Riguang Mountain, the island’s highest point, offering panoramic views of Gulangyu and the distant Xiamen city.

Xiamen Shuzhuang Garden - After descending Riguang Mountain, visit Shuzhuang Garden, an ideal spot to admire the exquisite gardens and stunning vistas of the hills and sea, showcasing China’s natural beauty. The Piano Museum within the garden houses a remarkable collection of antique pianos from around the globe and is a must-visit attraction.

Nanputuo Temple - Following your exploration of Gulangyu Island, return to Xiamen island by ferry and enjoy a traditional local lunch. Post-lunch, you will be taken to Nanputuo Temple, a renowned Buddhist temple established during the Tang dynasty (618-907). It reflects the rich history and culture of Southeast China and is famed as a “Temple of a Thousand Years.”

Kulangsu Huandao Road - After visiting Nanputuo Temple, enjoy a leisurely stroll along the famous Kulangsu Huandao Road, a scenic route starting from Xiamen University and following the coastline to Wuyuan Bay. This marks the end of your delightful day. You will then be transported back to your hotel.

Tianluokeng Earth Building Cluster-Yuchang Building-Taxia Village

Tulou de Fujian - Meet your guide in the morning and embark on an exciting journey in a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle. The drive from Xiamen downtown to Tianluokeng Tulou Clusters takes about 2.5 hours. This is the most renowned site among the Nanjing Tulou and the entire Fujian Tulou clusters. Upon arrival, ascend to the viewing platform for a bird’s-eye view of the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster, famously known as “Four Dishes and a Soup,” featuring 3 round, 1 oval, and 1 rectangular well-preserved earthen buildings, resembling a meal set.

Yuchang Building - Next, visit a local Hakka family for a traditional Chinese lunch. Afterward, explore Yuchang Building, constructed between 1308-1338. It is the oldest existing Tulou and the largest and tallest round Tulou in the Nanjing area.

Ta’xia Village - Continue to Ta’xia Village, a quaint village with a small stream running through its center. Established in 1426 during the Ming Dynasty by the Zhang Family, it is a renowned hometown for overseas Chinese and is listed among the 15 Chinese Landscape Villages. After the tour, relax during the drive back to Xiamen.
