Old Faithful - A stop at Old Faithful will allow for witnessing the geyser’s eruption, along with other geysers and thermal features.

Grand Prismatic Spring - A visit to Midway Geyser Basin will include exploring the Grand Prismatic Spring.

Fountain Paint Pot - The Lower Geyser Basin will be explored, showcasing various thermal features.

Firehole Canyon Drive - The scenic Firehole Canyon will be explored, offering beautiful views and a waterfall photo opportunity.

Gibbon Falls - Enjoy the view of this stunning waterfall on the Gibbon River as we drive by.

Gibbon Meadows - Delight in the scenery and the possibility of spotting wildlife.

Norris Geyser Basin - An optional stop to explore Norris Geyser Basin, depending on time constraints.

Golden Gate Canyon - Enjoy the scenery and photo opportunities as the descent from the Yellowstone Plateau towards Mammoth Hot Springs begins.

Mammoth Hot Springs - Explore the terrace formations at Mammoth Hot Springs with short boardwalks and a scenic drive.

Day Two: Heading South from Gardiner, Montana

Mammoth Hot Springs - Another chance to explore Mammoth if time was limited on day one, then onward to Lamar Valley.

Undine Falls - A brief stop at this beautiful waterfall, with some geological points of interest.

Blacktail Plateau Drive - Enjoy the scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities in the Blacktail area of Yellowstone.

Petrified Tree - A quick stop to view and discuss one of the few accessible petrified trees in the park.

Lamar Valley - Delight in the scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities in Lamar Valley, with chances to see grizzly bears, wolves, bison, big horn sheep, and more.

Tower Fall - Stop to explore the Tower Falls area, with photo opportunities, short walks, and chances to see big horn sheep, beautiful views, and fascinating geology.

Canyon Village Area - Enjoy the scenery while traveling over Dunraven Pass towards the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, with photo opportunities and wildlife viewing.

Lower Yellowstone River Falls - Various viewpoints and short walks will offer views of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, featuring beautiful scenery, waterfalls, and engaging geology.

Upper Falls - A brief stop and short walk to the Brink of the Upper Falls of the Yellowstone River, offering a beautiful waterfall viewing opportunity.

Hayden Valley - Enjoy the scenery and wildlife viewing opportunities in Hayden Valley, where bison, wolves, and grizzly bears are often seen. There will be photo opportunities and stops to view wildlife.

Yellowstone Geysers - Mud Volcano Area - If time permits, a few minutes will be spent exploring the Mud Volcano area; otherwise, it will be passed by due to timing. Interesting thermal features and a short boardwalk walk are available.

Yellowstone Lake - Enjoy the scenery while traveling past Yellowstone Lake, with photo opportunities and wildlife viewing chances.

Jackson - Heading south from Lake Yellowstone towards Jackson, WY, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the southern end of Yellowstone and Grand Teton as the journey returns to Jackson, WY. There will be photography opportunities and chances to view wildlife on the way south.

A Perfect Yellowstone Tour for Families! - We had an absolutely amazing two-day tour of Yellowstone! The experience exceeded all our expectations, and our guide, John, was outstanding. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about Yellowstone, fantastic with our kids, and made us feel completely safe the entire time. His passion and expertise truly brought the park to life for us. Majestic - You won’t regret taking the 2 day Yellowstone Tour. Our guide, John, did an exceptional job explaining Yellowstone landscapes, wildlife, geothermal wonders and other Wyoming & Montana facts. We saw beautiful country, various wildlife and all the sites as detailed on the itinerary. Six people were on the tour and John took excellent care of us. The van was comfortable and walking was manageable for us retirees. Kilmeny was wonderful to work with on the booking side. This tour is a must. You will leave the tour with a deeper and better appreciation of our national parks.

Embrace the beauty and embrace the moments! - Enjoy the view and embrace the surprises! John Putrino was excellent In offering history of the area and appreciation for this ecosystem. His passion for the area was evident throughout our 2 days. My advice would be to take the tour without any expectations and enjoy the moments as the experience unfolds. The Mountain View’s and variety of waterfalls was absolutely breathtaking.

Experience the majesty of Yellowstone - John P. was our guide and he was as phenomenal as Yellowstone. We saw and learned so much. John took us to all the right places at all the right times and we were able to experience exceedingly more than we even knew to hope for. We saw the grandeur of Yellowstone’s scenic mountains, thermal features (way more than Old Faithful), canyons, spectacular waterfalls, historic buildings, trees and vegetation and wildlife (including 12 grizzlies, wolves, bison, elk, pronghorn, deer, ground animals, eagles and on). John’s passion, graciousness, skill and knowledge truly made this the absolute best tour we’ve ever experienced. We highly recommend this tour. Ask for John. You won’t be disappointed.

Outstanding and then some - Wow, the ABSOLUTE highlight of our trip thru Colorado, Wyoming and Montana. The company and our guide John were exceptional and then some. Words cannot do justice to our guide John. We when planning the trip considered doing Yellowstone on our own. That would have been a COLOSSAL BLUNDER. We’re seniors (70 & 68) from Florida and the scenery and John made this the trip of a lifetime. John doesn’t sit in the van - he’s always out there - always with us looking to give us the BEST experience. John’s incredibly knowledgeable- a fountain of information and knows when and where to go. I just can’t say enough about this company and guide. John has a high end spotter scope with tripod and he’s always searching - for us. John is also highly safety oriented Towards the end of day two everybody was exhausted (that was everybody but John) who is just so PASSIONATE - he doesn’t want you to miss ANYTHING. Just about the company we initially booked for Oct 2024. A day before we were to leave, Tampa airport closed do the hurricane. We had to cancel (1day notice) but Teton Floats was so understanding with a full refund ( they didn’t have to). TWO DAYS WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

Amazing Tour with John - Our guide John was an amazing, passionate, informative, friendly & all round great guy. Showed us sights we would never have seen on our own. Nothing was too much trouble for John & he went out of his way to not only show us the park’s “tourist features” but also spotted a lot of amazing wildlife for us. Highly recommended. Thank you John for an amazing tour!

The Best Yellowstone Tour Ever! - BEST TOUR EVER! First, we are not “tour” people. We like to travel on our own and rarely find a tour company that does what they say they will do. That said, we loved our tour with Teton Floats! We took the two day Yellowstone tour out of Jackson Wy. The company was fabulous to work with. Kilmeny Hall, one of the company owners and tour coordinator, handled everything from our reservations to lunch orders. She is a true professional gem and is so accommodating. She answered all of our questions, and made the whole booking process so easy. Our tour guide, John Putrino, was absolutely the best tour guide we have ever had anywhere! He is organized and efficient in everything we did for two days. He knows all there is to know about Yellowstone and surrounding areas. He has a great spotting scope which allowed us to see even those far away animals in the park. We were able to see many bison, bears, and even a wolf pack (eating a baby bison). We also saw elk, prong horns, and a moose! We were also able to see many birds, including Trumpeter Swans, Sandhill Cranes, various hawks, and ravens. John knows all the best places to look for and see animals, as well as terrific spots to have lunch. Lunch was provided both days and the sandwiches were delish (along with the chips, cookies and fruit). The tour includes waters, binoculars, and granola bars. The van is very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. We had bathroom breaks and rest stops whenever needed. The two day tour was amazing. Day one we saw all the geothermal features, including Old Faithful, and the Grand Prismatic Spring. John told us where to stand for the best views and led us around all the features with lots of interesting information. We spent the night in Pray Montana at the Chico Hot Springs Resort, which we would highly recommend. Great cabins and a nice restaurant with a more casual Saloon if you don’t want a huge meal. Day two was focused on wildlife and waterfalls. We went to the Lamar Valley and other areas including Yellowstone Lake and the upper and lower Falls. We cannot say enough great things about Teton Floats two day Yellowstone Tour. John is the best and is so knowledgeable and thoughtful. A joy to spend two days with! We are definitely going to return and take this tour again! Don’t miss it.

Amazing two day Yellowstone - This two day tour was outstanding. John P as guide was everything a guide should be, and more. His passion for Yellowstone bubbles from him, along with amazing knowledge combined with true caring for his guests. Kimeneny as co- owner proactively communicated in advance, and around trip.
