• Lake Hawea Lookout - Crossing the mighty Clutha River, the journey continues westward past the breathtaking Lake Hawea, with a quick stop for a photo at a lookout point between Lake Wānaka and Lake Hāwea.
• Blue Pools Track - Situated in the Mt Aspiring National Park, the aptly named Blue Pools are a must-visit. This easy 3km round trip is well worth the effort to see the stunning blue waters of the Makarora River.
• Thunder Creek Falls - A simple 5-minute walk leads to a spectacular view of Thunder Creek Falls. This 28-metre waterfall, a remnant of a once-great glacier, cascades from a hanging valley.
• Haast - The group will stop at the Hard Antler for a 45-minute lunch break.
