- Spitzkoppe - Retracing our steps to Henties Bay, we turn into the Namib Desert towards Spitzkoppe. Along the way, we encounter local stalls offering rock crystals and admire the intriguing Bushman paintings and rock engravings. Climbing the Rock Arch, we enjoy the stunning Dolomite rock formations. Spitzkoppe, known as Namibia’s Matterhorn, is an inselberg and a magnificent granite rock formation standing at 1638m. After a light lunch, we return to Swakopmund.
