Stunning garden in surrey - This garden is a stand out. I am no gardening expert but this place is incredible. One day is not enough. A particular highlight was the produce you can take (for a donation) from their veggie garden. I was lucky enough to get some beautiful broad beans that used for a salad that day.

RHS Wisley Gardens Visit - If you want a great escape for the day and submerge yourself in some serious 'forest bathing', then do yourself a favour and visit RHS Wisley Gardens, a world-renowned horticultural site in Surrey. And what am amazingly, refreshing and large space - packed with numerous and varying gardens to visit, a glasshouse providing a wide variety of plants and habitats, as well as relaxed ambience, several cafes to tempt you with many delightfully delectable food items, lots of kiddies' activities to keep the youngsters engaged, lots of space in which to simply walk around and lose yourself in Mother Nature. Ahhh, what sheer and utter bliss indeed!
You can also follow the River Wey path, watch several bird varieties from the bird hide located in the Pinetum, wander the several wooded areas, take a rest at one of the many natural wooden benches, and marvel in the peace and tranquillity this beautiful location has to offer.
My friend and I arrived by public transport - catching the train from Waterloo station to Woking and then the number 463 bus just outside the train station (a half hour trip) to the RHS Wisley Gardens bus stop which is about 5 mins down the road from the main entrance. Very easy.
We arrived around 10.30 am and stayed until 6 pm closing time, Truly, well worth the visit.
Admission can be booked in advance (you also save some££ doing so) and checked on the RHS Wisley Admission Page, or pay full price on the day when you arrive. Entry is free for RHS members.

Wonderful Wisley - Wisley is truly beautiful and have now purchased an annual RHS pass. I recently went to see the tulip display which was stunning. More recently the wisteria was in full bloom and another memorable visit. Wisley is worth a visit across all four seasons, each time offering different displays at which to marvel.

Beautiful Gardens! - The gardens are beautiful, we had a free tour with Sarah who was very friendly and informative and shoulders all around including the Wysteria Walk it was amazing, we had a perfect sunny day!
It’s amazes me to see people on here complaining about the price of a sandwichin the café, you don’t have to buy them, you know where you are going, bring a packed lunch. If you go anywhere else in this or throughout the UK and you are a captive audience, then usually prices are a little higher. I paid more for a bottle of water and a sandwich in a service station than I did here. The parking is free, the tours are free, some people are never happy and just like to complain. This is a charity run by volunteers. Get a grip!
This is an amazing day out for all the family, if you are bothered about the price of a sandwich or a cup of coffee take a flask and a picnic. If you see Sarah giving her tour, make sure you go along, you will have a wonderful time! Thank you all, it was thoroughly enjoyable!

Almost inaccessible by public transport - I’m sorry to have to report that we almost had to call off my wife’s birthday lunch at the RHS Wisley’s Terrace restaurant because the gardens proved well nigh impossible to access by public transport from Woking. Quite disgracefully a bus driver scheduled to stop at Wisley informed us that he had been directed by the local council to disregard the timetable and not stop at Wisley at all! It was a struggle to find a taxi company willing to fit all five of our party in a single cab. Staff st Wisley were not particularly sympathetic to our plight. When researching our means of escape later in the afternoon we realised the stop at which a bus might or might not stop was nowhere near the advertisement for such a service outside the main entrance but in a road beyond Wisley altogether. Nor did our taxi stop anywhere near the marked spot. Not impressive. We are loath to return before we might afford a ride by helicopter,

An enjoyable day out - The sheer scale and variety at RHS Garden Wisley is immense, from the stunning Glasshouse to the immaculate mixed borders. It is beautifully maintained and offers peaceful walks for all ages. Although I am sure it is a world-class garden it feels a little underwhelming compared to when we used to visit a few years ago.

Let down by hospitality - Beautiful wll kept gardens.
Sadly due to new A3 low hum of background traffic noise.
Let down by cafes/restaurants. A capative audience allows them to be expensive, use paper cups and provide poor quality food and drink.

Car Parking is ludicrous. - Awful experience getting here and rude staff. Took over an hour to get down the service road and in to the car park. Car parking was the furthest it could be from the venue and when I enquired how we would get back to it I was met with rudeness. Tried to explain that I was meeting up with someone travelling separately I was met with rudeness and a shrug. Has put me off ever wanting to return.
