Great introduction to Windhoek - We booked this tour on a private basis. Our tour guide Petros was excellent, gave us all the time we wanted at each spot and also shared a lot of information about the city. Right from the pickup to the drop off, the tour was very professionally organised and interesting. Kapana at Katutura was one of the highlights of the tour. Loved it and the fat bread. Claire from Lark handled our bookings. She also helped us with transport and reservations for Naankuse Sanctuary as also with an airport drop off at the end of our holiday. The entire booking process was clear and hassle free. Thank you Claire and Petros for making our stay at Windhoek interesting.

Morning city tour, Windhoek. - Fantastic value made even better by our wonderful guide, Petrus. He was very knowledgeable and very well mannered. A wonderful ambassador for Larke.

A Great Intro to the City - This tour was an excellent introduction to the city. All was as promised. Actually, it was more than "as promised" because our guide Petros didn't hurry us through places even though we asked him tons of questions and wanted to do a bit of our own thing with photos and so on. This included giving us enough time to shop at Pendukah Village. In addition to basic downtown landmarks, it was great to visit an organization like Pendukah that's brought life-changing work and skills to so many women. Their gift shop was a great place to pick up gifts to take home while allowing you to contribute to their efforts. Lunch at the market in Katutura was another highlight. The kapana meat was so delicious, eaten along with the tomato onion salsa, and fresh steamed or fried vetkoek bread. Petros made sure we had a great experience on this tour and learned a lot about the Windhoek's culture and history. He was a kind, generous, and all-around fabulous guide.

Excellent tour of Windhoek - It was an excellent tour! I especially loved the market. We hit all the major sites, and we had enough time at each. Petrus was a superb guide!

Good way to see the key city sights. - This was a good tour and a very good way to see the key landmarks in the city centre. We visited more places and for longer than we expected from the itinerary given at the time, which we really appreciated. The tour was also longer than expected, so excellent value for money overall. Our guide was easy-going and knowledgeable. Some people may find it difficult to be a 'tourist' in the outer residential areas and the food market.
