Windhoek- Etosha NP

Windhoek - Prepare for a morning pick-up at 7:15 am. The journey begins as the vehicle departs Windhoek heading towards Etosha National Park, with a brief stop at Otjiwarongo or Outjo for a light lunch. The afternoon game drive will commence, offering opportunities to spot wildlife while leisurely driving through the park, pausing at waterholes where there may be sightings of zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, and various antelope species. Arrival at the accommodation is expected by sunset. Dinner will conclude the day’s adventure, and rest is essential to ensure an early and refreshed start for the next day’s activities.

Etosha NP - Etosha Village

Etosha National Park - An early start is encouraged to embrace the natural surroundings and fresh air. Following breakfast, the game drive will begin, providing a wonderful exploration of the park, including visits to waterholes. The itinerary includes a visit to the Etosha pan (salt pan) before continuing the game drive in search of the Big 4 and other wildlife. A light lunch offers a chance to recharge for the next adventure. After a brief rest, the final waterhole visit will offer a last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. Arrival at Okaukuejo is expected in the late afternoon, with departure from the park before sunset, including one last waterhole visit to enjoy another African sunset. Rest will follow for the weary travelers.

Etosha NP-Swakopmund

Etosha National Park - An early rise is planned for a quick breakfast and departure from the lodge at 7:30 am. A long drive of 540km is ahead, traveling via Outjo and turning off before Otjiwarango towards Omaruru. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in Omaruru, a town with 14,000 residents and 352 square kilometers of land. The journey continues via Karibib and Usakos, crossing the Namib Desert to Swakopmund, with arrival expected mid-afternoon. In the evening, there will be an opportunity to explore the charming seaside town on foot. The guide will gladly recommend a good restaurant for dinner (at own expense).

Swakopmund- Windhoek

Windhoek - Prepare for the scenic journey back to Windhoek, passing through towns and rural areas, with a stop in the small town of Okahandja, known for Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The market operates on a local cooperative basis, offering a wide range of authentic Namibian souvenirs. Arrival back in Windhoek is scheduled for no later than 4:00 pm, with drop-off at the accommodation.
