Time well spent - Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and the stories that went along with each location, which always makes the tour more fun. There were people in our group that lived in the area for over 10 years, so it's not just for tourists! Would definitely recommend.

History in front of you - Guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We didn’t have to walk far as this tour is focused on a specific historic district. Lots of satisfying architectural details.

Excellent value for the wealth of historical knowledge received! - This was a fantastic tour!! Amanda is a wonderful, knowledgeable guide. She presented a chronological history of Wilmington as we walked through the historic district as it all related to the architecture. It was presented in a way that was very intriguing. My mind did not wander at all as she was presenting. She connected a lot of 'dots' for me about Wilmington and the history of the East Coast in general. Amanda efficiency and effectively gave a wealth of information about the history of the area. The cost of the tour is very minimal for what is received. I would definitely take another one of her tours of the area.

Great walk through historical Wilmington waterfront and surroundings - Two hour walk through historic downtown Wilmington. Very informative. We started at the Fromt Street Inn, then went to the riverwalk and the guide told us about the history of the river and its ships. Then we walked around to hear about the different architecture in the area.

More architecture than history - This leisurely walking tour hit the high points of Wilmington history but its primary focus was residential architecture; most of the stops were at houses rather than churches or commercial or government buildings. It provides a good introduction to the city for the first-time visitor but someone interested in exploring this city's history in depth might do better with other options. Tour guide Art did fine without notes but his delivery lacked energy and was hesitant at times. I personally expected more for the $25 admission.

Art arrived about 5... - Art arrived about 5 minutes late for our tour, which was surprising. He didn’t always use his microphone and was sometimes hard to understand. His information was good.

A little underwhelming - Tour was just ok. Had trouble hearing the guide. He was a very nice man, but there wasn’t much energy in the activity despite all the interest of the 5 people in his group. I had recently used Viator for a walking tour in Savannah, which was excellent!
