THE VIEWS ARE BREATHTAKING!!! - We are so happy that we did not spend our whole Las Vegas vacation in the city!!! WE HAD AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING TIME, EXPERIENCE AND UNFORGETABLE MEMORIES ON THIS KAYAK TRIP!! Gino, our guide was the BOMB!! He was super knowledgable about the Colorado River and the History, FUN!!, SUPER easy to talk to and just an all around great guy and guide!! He would not hesitate to wait if someone happen to be late ,( not us) , he stopped to help others that were having a hard time, JUST AN AWESOME GUIDE!!! If your coming to Vegas, make sure to take a day and do this, IT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and only about an hour ride out of Vegas!! If we are out here, we will definitely be booking again!! We did the half-day... - We did the half-day Emerald Cove kayaking tour with Adventure Child and had a great experience. It was a hot day, but the water was refreshingly cold and made for the perfect outing. Our guide, Gino, was outstanding. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone in the group was comfortable throughout the trip. He shared interesting information along the way and took photos for everyone, which was a nice touch. What really stood out was how proactive and helpful he was on the water. He assisted a group whose canoe had overturned and filled with water, helping empty it and get them safely back on their way. He also helped another group whose paddleboard had blown away in the wind after they fell off and weren’t tethered. Without his quick response, they likely would have lost the board. Gino’s professionalism, attentiveness, and focus on safety made the trip even better. Highly recommend Adventure Child and, if you’re lucky enough to get Gino as your guide, you’re in great hands!

Great Kayak Trip - Had a wonderful day on the Colorado River in tandem kayaks. Guide Luke was awesome - had the best snacks. And took the best pictures. We had a very calm day, and he took incredible photos of the mountains reflecting on the water. Great day!

Great adventure - confidence building and fun! - This was a wonderful experience for our group! Our guide (Cameron) was truly amazing! We had a group of 6 with a wide range of personalities, abilities, experience kayaking and comfort on the water, and Cameron coached each one through their specific needs with an open heart and creative spirit.

We loved our tour with... - We loved our tour with Bri on the river! She made the trip fun and exactly what we were needing and looking for. The only negative thing was that she didn't have the support she needed to load up the kayaks on the company trailer. We were put in the position of having to stay longer and help because there was no way a single person could do it. It was very hard to load, as the kayaks needed to be stored on the very top row of the trailer (4 kayak rows high). My husband and I were climbing and balancing heavy kayaks with unsteady footing on the trailer. We felt really bad for our guide but it was a unfortunate way to end such a neat tour.

Great guide, awful kayaks - Our guide, Shawn, was great. Very knowledgeable and attentive. Positive and encouraging the entire trip. The canyon is definitely worth seeing. Those are the positive aspects of the trip. The overwhelming negative aspect was the equipment. The kayaks were in the worst condition of any I've seen/used by a commercial outfitter. Mine was so bad that I had to abandon it and ride in the bow of a double kayak. I did that for eight of the twelve miles. Because of the very substandard equipment, I would not recommend using this outfitter.
